    resto healing help

When it comes to a situation where the whole raid will take a hit, like chains on archi, does resto durid start blanketing the raid with rejuvs or just wild growth?

Or something else that im not familiar with?

Not entierly sure what keeps you from doing both.

Your question is a bit odd. Mainly because Wild Growth has a Cooldown (8 seconds is it?) And Rejuv does not.

Well for breaking Chains on Archimonde, you should have a major healing CD rotation between your groups healers. Resto Druids obviously would be using Tranq with all 3 chains breaking at the same time. When you're not using your big CD, ToL is very useful to blanket the raid in HoTs (what we rDruids to best). WG is on a short cooldown, when anticipating this damage, the answer is yes you should be using WG. But ONLY using WG and not RJ is just nonsensible. What else would you be doing with the down time in between the WG cooldown?

So I guess to answer your question, you should be doing both - WG on CD and blanketing the raiding in RJ&Germination

You can't blanket with Lifebloom anymore (you used to be able to spam them during Tree of Life), spamming Rejuv is very much alive

    Well... is it encouraged though?

Yes it's encouraged. It will be your #1 healing spell (outside of Tranq) on like, everything. We are a HoT class. You can't RJ spam and afk like you could say back in ICC during WotLK. But you can and should still be RJ blanketing, especially when anticipated something like Archi Chain breaks. Whenever multiple people are not at 100%, use WG. The "smart healing" does a decent job of targeting lower health players so your WG is not wasted.

    Some Tips:
    - Get Weakauras to track Lifebloom, Mushroom, Harmony
    - Keep Harmony up 100%
    - Keep Mushrom up 100%
    - Keep (both with 4p) Lifebloom's rolling on each Tank, or other targets consistently taking damage. Ex. Gift of Menari targets on Socrethar.
    - Keep RJ + Germination rolling on both Tanks at all times.
    - WG when multiple raid members are losing health
    - Coordinate healing CDs with other healers (Tranq/Revival/Devo/Hymn/Barrier/Totem...)
    - Take fight length into account. If it's a short fight couple HotW w/ Tranq. If it's a longer fight be sure to get multiple uses of your 3 minute CDs.
    - End the fight with little to no mana and have used a Mana Pot (channeled if able) for maximum throughput
    - HoT in preparation of raid wide damage. Archi Chains, Socrethar Menari, Velhari Infernal Tempest, Council Wailing Horrors/Blademaster flurry thing, etc.

Plan ahead, you know when these spikes in damage are coming be proactive. If you wait until after the raid has been nailed by 1 or more big spikes to try to catch up you are opening the door for people to die from other smaller sources of damage. These fights are all scripted to a large degree. You know when damage will happen plan your cds accordingly.
