Say a muslim extremist political party would somehow gain absolute majority and somehow passes the laws of sharia.

- No alcohol
- No adultry
- No sex before marriage
- Theft will be punished with cutting off hands
- Women cant drive cars anymore
- Political parties will be forbidden
- No more free speech
- Homosexuality is forbidden
- no more freedom of religion.
None of the above affect me personally, except for the alcohol and the no sex before marriage. So if i really wanted to i probably woulnd get into alot of trouble. But id probably get out of the country.

I wouldn't enjoy it, but I'd be fine. The only part that would substantially impact my personal life there would be the alcohol. I really like my beer.
I detest it from an ideological standpoint though, so I will not visit any nation that has it as a system.

I'm male, so sure, no probs. In case of minor problems (alcohol, pre-marital hanky-panky) there's always the option of bribery. Tbh my own oh-so-civilized European country would punish me for things I consider normal and harmless (like using certain psychoactive substances) so fuck that.
The question is, ofc, not whether I would be able, but whether I'd be *willing*.

I could not and would not. I'd think that there would be a hell of a rebellion if it ever looked like it was gaining any sort of traction here. We might even see a new era of Crusades.
