Everything was working fine last night, I had posted a thread earlier yesterday about how I was seeing "Black dots/lines" on my screen. I followed Riaya's advice and used DDU to uninstall the AMD and Nvidia drivers. I boot the computer up today and it's a complete mess. I think I can completely rule out the GPU as I tested it with the GPU inside of the computer and not in it at all. I just hope it isn't further problems with say... The motherboard.
UPDATED: Here's what the monitor looks like now with NO GPU driver installed, just microsofts display adapters... I'm thinking Microsoft (Windows 10) Is installing drivers that are messing with my system. http://i67.tinypic.com/2cfpbpv.jpg
UPDATE 2: So, reinstalled the Nvidia driver etc just like I did last night. The black dots/lines are back. I give up, lmao. Here's what it looks like.. http://i65.tinypic.com/2lw3yu1.jpg. It's only in certain spots... On certain colors it seems.
UPDATE 3: After much googling online, I came across a forum with a user who had my same monitor (KDS 22") Someone noted to give the back of the monitor a few swift palm strikes. I did just that, and the monitor is now working flawlessly. So this completely rules out the GPU (Thank GOD as I HATE RMA). I'm getting a new monitor today, however. As this monitor will slowly but surely die.
Try another monitor (even if you have a modern flat panel LCD/Plasma/DLP TV, most are considered monitors and can use either DVI, VGA or HDMI connectors from a video card or from the mobo). That way you can see if its the monitor going bad.
I don't have any other monitors I can test. :/. I uninstalled the driver via DDU now and the monitor is working exactly as it did before. some little black dots/lines etc. However, when I open up DDU now.. I see 2 Drivers from microsoft. (Microsoft basic display adapter) I'm beginning to think it's something with Windows 10 secretly downloading drivers and fucking over my system. I'm just not sure how to uninstall these 2 drivers because they're likely causing conflicts.
