I don't really think people who are religious are necessarily bad or stupid. They could be the opposite of both but I will at least keep in mind that they are people who are willing to believe something without evidence and they are easily influenced because I don't see how one could think rationally and comes to the conclusion that there's God like described in Christianity and Islam.

I wouldn't say easily influenced. Many have it reinforced to them their entire lives.
