    It would mater a lot more than not voting, as generating even a single percentage of popular vote would be a story on disenfranchised voters. A vote for Mickey, shows disenfranchised voters, while not voting just shows not voting.

    What differance does any vote have then? Last I checked, chances are your single vote means nothing, even if you vote for the two parties. The chances are parallel to the number of people who actually do it. What makes republicans and democrats mater, is not the fact that people vote for the alternative or vote in protest, but because they don't.

    Want Ron Paul or Elizabeth Warren to run for office? Write them in, as the groundswell would encourage them to run, far more than voting for either Trump or Clinton.
