So it turns out that the other side of the Legion portal is Argus!

We could very well be travelling to Argus as the final content patch for this expansion, if all it takes it to literally walk through the portal.

As for the portal, I can actually totally see a whole zone in Argus. Like Tanaan Jungle. There is only so much that can be done with wow now. I think WoW 2 is the only real way forward, so an epic finale is sort of mandatory for old wow. And a trip to Argus would be amazing.

Hes not telling you, the player his plans, you're in disguise as a shadow council member (literally transformed) and you act to destabilize the plan/ritual by stealing the scepter.

For people that think Argus will be the next expac, we apparently fail miserably at the broken shore, so I'm not very certian how we're going to do better on the Legion Homeworld, I expect after we'd ally all factions on Azeroth we'd try to destroy Argus then fail, then come back later after going to different planets and stuff getting other factions, and then we'd go back to Argus a third time and that is when we would win.

It's related with the Illidan novel, Nathreza was destroyed by Illidan and his demon hunters so Argus is the last major Legion planet that we know of. Right now, nothing is unexpected and most likely the Legion won't be the enemy next xpac.

Yeah I had the same thought after reading that in the Illidan novel, Illidan also opened a portal to Argus from Outland. Argus is probably gonna be the final patch of Legion, the final expansion. They are throwing everything in there.

It's not the final expansion, the Burning Legion isn't the final enemy.

You killed him a long time ago at the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore (somewhere around level 18), before he was removed from the game entirely in the Cata revamp. It's just weird to see him again.

If you believe they have 3 more expansions planned, you're deluded. Legion is most likely going to be the last expansion. They are wrapping everything up, and they are elevating the players up to the status of legends. It also explains why numbers are going so high so fast again, they won't have to do another squish, cause it'll end with Legion. One more raid tier after release, with the Argusraid, killing Kil'jaeden, Archimonde and Sargeras and that's it. The Finale. Close curtains.

Wasn't he the leader of one of the sub-organisations of the shadow councils?
