You know what, you're right, if a man had been asked the reverse, there would have been hell to pay.
But that's because MEN DONT SUFFER FROM THESE PROBLEMS.
Grow some balls.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
There's no such thing as [phrase that is very specific and has a widely understood meaning which represents a particular facet of our culture and is relevant to this discussion]. There is only [very general word that ignores context for no other reason than to be pedantic].
Thank you! But please don't linger, valiant hero. Your Super Semantic Powers are probably needed elsewhere on these forums. I'm sure there's a discussion about Islam, where someone's been accused of racism, in desperate need of you popping in to say, "Muslim is not a race."
Equity is fairness. Is it fair that, as a direct or indirect result of slavery, African Americans lack the same strong cultural and generational support to encourage them to make healthy, good choices?
No it's not fair, because the environment has been created at some point to work against them.
Is it fair that white educated females, miss out on spots to study certain courses because spots are reserved for minorities based on their race and no other merits?
No it's not fair, because they are being treated different based on race.
'Special Treatment' infers some sense of entitlement. That's not the case here. Special treatment is where a white man gets off a crime because his father is a prominent judge, while another white man goes to jail because his father is a nobody.
Equity is when you take steps to make things more fair. Have a cabinet full of capable successful Woman make to fairer for young girls as they have more role models to look up to who can help shape a system that works for them.
Yes it's unfair for young boys, but they already have many male models and have had EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT to act as role models.
You really want to cry foul when the balance is so badly skewed in favour of males?
I doubt successful women want equality at all.
Too much competition ruins their chances to climb.
equality and fairness are not the same. fairness is subjective equality is not
a poor person and a rich person does the same job they get paid the same is that equity yes. is it fair some people would say no because the poor person needs the money more then the rich person
I'm not sure what this video had to do with Hillary laughing at a joke that had the word man in it.
So when you say "understand the regressive mindset" you mean, "regressive liberal", or "regressive conservative."
A triggered regressive conservative makes a video laden with buzzwords and blames the downfall of society on those he is triggered by so he uses misinformation to try and non-argue their non-arguments.... So, which regressive mindset are we supposed to be understanding?

Welcome to the new Double Standard, and the War on Men, OP.
It's perfectly fine for women to objectify men sexually on television or in the work place. It's perfectly fine to actively exclude men socially and professionally. It's perfectly fine to belittle and denigrate and belittle men's choices of employment.
Why? Because "patriarchy."
