Loial is supposed to be so much "larger" than a normal person that it was specifically described during their escape from the Two Rivers that when seen from a distance in the dark, Loial on the big draft horse that was the only thing that could carry him made the group (which included Lan) look like an Adult escorting a bunch of children due to the size variance.

Loial fled the two rivers with Lan? Didn't Loial first go to the Two Rivers with Perrin to investigate White Cloaks and later found Trollocs. Regardless Loial is ten feet tall in the books and the show decided to make him a little bit shorter. Likely for ease of filming as they would need perspective tricks, stilts, or something.

I hope this is more that the writer doesn't know what they are on about, but I remain sceptical. Firstly they refer to previous incarnations of the Dragon (plural) going mad. And also Moirane can no longer channel. So no heroics against Lanfear. Is Lanfear even going to appear? This season is where she should.

And seriously? LANFEAR? A woman so beautiful that men act stupid and women all instant envy her? LOL, they will never cast someone like that. If they even make a Lanfear in this show, she'll be a 5 at best.

I thought on my way home this morning, Hollywood use to cast actresses for beauty, and if they could act too, all the better. Now they obviously don't cast for beauty..... but the acting has gotten worse..... so I'm trying to figure out what they are casting for.

1) I love the franchise, I been reading the books since 1999
2) this is a forum, discission shouldn't only be circle jerking praise.
3) I never said I hated the show. Sure I gave it a 4/10 overall but I highlighted there are some good things I do enjoy. just the bad outweigh the good sadly.
4) Learn to accept that a lot of people are disappointed by the show, and that's okay, just as its okay that you enjoy said show. No one is wrong

I have praised a few things about the show. I still think the first two episodes were the best episodes of the show. Despite some of the cut stuff. I don't have much complaints about the casting, I generally don't mind them. and some scenes once again in the earlier episodes have been pretty good to look at.

But once again there are too many negatives thats its hard to focus on the good a lot of the time. So as you can understand I am going to be sceptical about the second season.

Just let it go. The show is not a personal attack against you so there is no reason to keep immersing yourself in something you hate.

Aint no way this is ever getting a faithful revival in our lifespan. There was an attempt, it was garbage, tough luck. Atleast we'll always have the books unless god forbid they get """adjusted""".

I think he means in the same sense there are books being adjusted now. A lot of children's books are getting adjusted to reflect our current social norms now, Roald Dahl was the recent example of this. Hardly the same thing though :P

More On Topic: If they make books based off the show, thats fine, if they wanna do that I say cool, I just don't seem them replacing the original source in this case. Unless someone with a half brain finds anything in those books offensive to social standards of today.
