Sounds like any other day. Actually had a pretty okay day here. Yesterday started great, played with some friends who were giving WoW a rest so was nice to be in a 6 stack again, gained a bunch of SR only to lose it again when I went solo again later. Got it back this afternoon though, so that's okay, looks like I'm finishing at 2120 which is disappointing in the bigger picture where I'd hoped to see Plat based on previous seasons' averages. But given I started out at 1900, and have been as low as 1700 this season I think I did okay to make up for that much.

As bad as it's been at times, I've enjoyed playing some more support and it's nice having Ana back amongst my picks. Let's hope Season 9 is better.

Ended barely in in Diamond, after being ~3160. Accomplished my goal, though it was a lot of work honestly. Proper hardware and research on making the game perform better shouldn't be this mandatory to have your shots land as you would expect, unlike other games. But it feels good to see improvement, starting to feel very confident on some things like flashbang+headshot Tracer combos. Hopefully next season I can get close to master, to cross that gap 2 from now.

I honestly think Widowmaker is the best hero for someone to play if they want to climb and genuinely believe that they are Diamond or Master or whatever rank they aren't in because of how fucking brutally she punishes people who make stupid mistakes. I was on fire today, rolled right into the first match of the day with 70% scoped accuracy and dropped a winston before he hit the ground and ragequit lmao. I don't wanna say it's because I went from 50 fps to 144 fps because initially there was no improvement but lately I have been on an absolute rampage.

I have no idea when the hell I decided to suddenly be good at Widow, but claiming eminent domain over the salt mines and putting mother fuckers to work has never been this easy. Got me a whole new brand of whoop-ass to roll out onto the sales floor in Season 9. Got a Pharmercy so fucked up they gotta stop firing rockets at me to think about whether or not they want they wanna keep fucking around and see if they gone get some of these BOGO ass whoopins.

I didn't have the confidence to play her regularly before but I have legit been getting tired of being forced to carry people as Tracer who are too heavy and started playing Widowmaker because I just don't give a fuck anymore lol i never intended to pop out a 90% winrate. It stresses me out trying to figure out how in the fuck my winrate as Tracer is literally 27% or how it's even possible to lose 1, let alone 2 control maps when 12k damage is bronze. control games are shorter than escort games. 12k is reaching into hard carry territory for me on escort. Between me, silver and gold damage there was at least enough damage to kill 200 HP heroes at least 190 times. I had 30 eliminations [Gold], so 50% damage efficiency in my share of damage. It literally felt like nothing could die in this game.

Incomprehensible. I've never seen anything like that, it's completely insane. Do I really want to understand it? sheesh

I've mostly just been getting high and "trolling" the official forums which I guess is apparently what it's called when a triggered Junkrat main tries to tell you Dragonblade is the most OP ult in the game because you can 6k a bunch of retards with it. So just fyi, trolling is basically saying anything that anyone who can flag your posts enough times doesn't like and is broken just like the ingame report system and you'll be suspended even if all you did was disagree with someone by being blunt and presenting facts instead of opinions because Blizzard is out here trying to redefine words they didn't create.

As expected, it's harder to interrupt Sombra hack in time. Yet, in the few games I did there weren't as many EMPs as before, which is a good thing. She's way more present/active in teamfights now (back from hacking -> going low health -> teleport to healthpacks for free 30% ult -> repeat).

Mcclick getting closer to Ana as 2nd most played hero, so I played her a bit. Had a blast and ended up buying the Gold gun. Yeepi !

Playing as Ana and i go round a corner into a Sym who locks on me. I run back round the corner and heal myself a second later Sym follows round with beam still going, I go round another corner and the beam still doesnt break and i just die.

That would inflate SR to the point where tiers would have to become dynamic. If you never lose SR, you can only climb. But, if you keep losing games, it wouldn't make sense that you'd bump up from gold to platinum. Perhaps what you mean is that the game could decide if you did a good enough job such that you shouldn't lose SR for that game specifically on a case-by-case basis.

Happens with literally every hero after a buff, hell there were even calls to nerf Ana again when she got her damage re-buffed, because people just aren't used to fighting them. At least give it a week, I'm honestly not seeing a drastic difference in end results, although Hacking a Genji off a wall or Pharah out the sky to watch them plummet and be actually vulnerable is hilarious.
