Mel Gibson is back, in a film that definitely suits him. IMDb and Rotten have fairly nice ratings on it, although it's only been at Cannes so far. I'm hoping that it'll be a hit, and get Gibson back in the saddle for real. He has his problems with being a decent human being, but he's still been a great actor in so many movies. Maybe he can get a handle on it.
Here's a trailer for it, although... WARNING! First of all, seems to be a really badly made trailer and makes the movie look a lot worse than those ratings would have you believe, and it's one of those "I watched the trailer, now I don't have to watch the movie" -trailers. Still, here you go:
Actually, that trailer doesn't seem that bad to me. I mean, it doesn't sound like a great movie by any means, but it could be an entertaining one. It could also be terrible, that's definitely in play as well. Probably not something I'd see in theaters either way, but I'll have to wait and see what comes out about it if its something I'd want to see at some point or not.
