Interesting, I figured you would be able to past in emoji but that appears not to be the case. I'll look at it after Legion is out / later this year.

I had a little bit of free time today, looked into this and found the cause. Fixing it to allow actual text emoji is probably never going to happen as it will require significant time and testing.
