Obama won Florida by 1.8% in 2008 and 0.8% in 2012. Bush carried the state by 0.01% in 2000 and by 5% in 2004, when he very comfortably beat Kerry nationwide.

After watching the full video, you should know that there was no reason to post what you did, regardless of your current claims about what you wrote being an opinion. Nothing changed from nearly a month ago for Kasich. Any claim you make that he should have done this nearly a month ago, negates any possible misinterpretation. Because regardless of people thinking you meant he gave his endorsement or that he softened his stance and the full range in between, the fact is nothing changed... He still called his candidacy disgusting...

It is essentially forcing you to go contrary to typically utilized methods. You're right, why the fuck would you not just used the standard means of estimation? Not to mention 500 = 645 does not, they're not remotely close.

Once I was in a microsoft access course, which is esentially database creation, they had me work out what the average amount of sales were for something. One of the instructions for a step was to do math in my head using rounding in a common core way. They wasted a whole paragraph explaining how I should round 1200 to 1000 and 111,000 to 100,000 therefore an answer around 100 was correct!

All I could think of was how they wasted 2 minutes of my life when I was obviously in front of a computer and a fucking program that could do the math for me.

Also 291 is not even remotely close to 200. 354 is not close to 300. Shit. Make it 350 and 300. But hey, what do I know?

It's pretty telling if you look at the names of all the people who jumped into the thread to advocate for the deportation of illegal immigrants when that subject came under discussion. 2016 presidential debate calendar set




I'm 100% positive if the Clinton campaign had their way they'd debate Trump and Pence as often as possible. Trump was horrible during the Republican debates and was only saved by having 8 others on stage with him to eat up time while he spouted his insults every 10 minutes or so when it was his turn to talk. Once it's one on one Trump's insults will get old so fast. Clinton just needs a quick jab to get under his skin and Trump will be fucked. I guess Trump can try completely lying as his supporters don't seem to care about facts and reality. Risky tactic but that's probably all he's got. And I can't even begin to think what Pence could do to help Trumps cause.

Originally when I first heard about common core, I thought it might actually pretty okay; then things like this started to pop up. I'd really hate to see someone working who used common core in a field where it really mattered, like nursing or chemistry.

If you can't handle simple addition I don't know what to tell you. I thought that things like this might actually lead to something somewhat useful in the end (ie long division), but I don't have much faith in that anymore.
