    Can this max WoW?

    Hi once again.

I havs plans for a new PC and I was just wondering if this build can max WoW or what settings it could handle, I also wonder if the FPS would be high.

    https://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/9604874/Å
Page is in Swedish but shouldn't be a problem.

    Basically, it's a build with Rx 480 and a FreeSync 144hz monitor.
Z170 motherboard, i7-6700K CPU, 16gb ddr4 2400mhz memory, 750w corsair psu, be quiet! Pure Rock cooler, 500gb ssd and 1tb hdd.

    Thoughts?

Wow, nice. I was actually worried about 480 not being enough to max WoW, thanks for telling this! **

    I'll most likely overclock it.

    What GPU do you have?

You don't need 6700k, 6600k is the perfect CPU for ultra raiding.

I see, I've changed my mind and I was wondering IF 1060 with a 24" Gsync monitor would be a good idea.

    What do you think?

in that case the just go with the 6600k, for gaming the i7 doesnt make sense and will be 1000~ down the drain

Rx 480 is actually NOT enough to *max* WoW. If by max we mean everything highest + 8x MSAA, I expect you would have only 30-40 FPS in WoD areas (I have an overclocked GTX 970 which performs better than stock Rx 480).

Already by reducing MSAA to 4x you should probably have above 50-55 fps at all times. But if your goal is a stable 144 FPS with max settings, rx 480 is sadly nowhere near of that goal.

You might want to consider getting i5 6600k instead of the i7 and investing in a better gpu, I'd recommend a GTX 1070 (non-FE). THAT should be able to allow you to play at 144 fps with minimal setting reductions (AA).

I might go for i5-6600K and 1060, what do you think? What settings and FPS would that handle? I've never played with AA anyway so I could have that disabled (unless 1060 can handle AA).

    GTX 960

Didn't notice any FPS drops even in heavy AOE situations.

Sorry I was afk and sick these days.

I think GTX 1060 is on par with GTX 970, so you should have roughly the same performance as me. I'm pretty happy with it, always above 60, even with 8x MFAA (4x MSAA) and everything else max.
