New build soon - Looking for SSD, feedback.

Budget... no set number really, but I'm trying to save the best I can.

    Resolution, 1080p
Games, mostly D3, Overwatch, Some wow.. Then random games like Batman Arkham, CS, and so forth..
I should be able to reuse my power supply, graphics card, and all peripherals... don't need an os or anything..

This is pretty much my starting point...

I really do like the Corsair 540, but if I decide to shave a few bucks off of it, i'll get -
Case: Cooler Master HAF XB EVO ATX Desktop Case ($92.98 @ Newegg)

Storage is where I am not sure... yet. I want an SSD, ~250gb. I know the easy answer is - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($89.39 @ Newegg)

But If I can get a good comparable for around $60, it would make it easier to go with the Corsair 540 (I'm also considering removing the Coolermaster 212, as the Xeon doesn't really need it, I just like to use them for a bit better cooling..

And I want to keep it with the Xeon for the extra cores and 16gig ram, as I tend to always have multiple things going on in the background as well...

But at this point, I am open to feedback and - anything you got..

    Thank you for your time,

Good choice on the CPU, those xeons are very good value. Corsair force LE is on sale atm for 65 bucks, its a better drive than some of the more budget oriented models:

Id stick with the air 540, its a much newer design than the haf xb and better thought out. Id also stick with an aftermarket cooler, stock one will keep it under 80c but wouldnt you rather it be under 70c or 60c even?

    Also check these out:

These are very well designed cases on really good sales atm, company has been around a good while overseas just now hitting the states.

Yep sandisk and adata are the two budget ssd's i recommend most, but the corsair linked above its a better drive than either and is worth the extra 5 bucks.

One little piece of advice I'd give is don't sell yourself short with a 250GB drive. Get a 500+. You'd be surprised at how quickly you'll run out of room, even by doing as you should and keeping most of your files on an HDD (music, movies, etc). I've been having to play the Steam games juggling act every time I get a new one, and delete something off my 256GB to download the new game. I also had to move the WoW Beta to my HDD because there wasn't room for it on my SSD. (Anecdotally, I can confirm now that HDD is way slower for loads and what not than SSDs).

Especially if you do end up considering going with a cheaper brand SSD, that's all the more reason to be able to spend a little extra and get a bigger drive.

On entry level SSD I usually recommend OCZ Trion 150. Corsair Force LE that is metioned above is actually made with the same hardware.

Thank you for all of the feedback so far!

SSD - Currently, I'm using a Samsung 840 EVO 120gig with a 1tb harddrive for larger files. I wanted to upgrade it to a 240 , and pass down the 120 to my 2nd computer.

From the looks of it, they all read around the 480mbs from user benchmarks, and overall I'm leaning to the ocz.

Case - I do like the anidees, they seem to be decent... but the two compartments are not entirely separated.. so I'm not 100% on them.. I still have time to think it over.

Here is where I am currently..

Get this for memory. Also, what's with the boxes? You can definetely shave at least $50 off the case and still get a very decent one. Are you considering different cases?

I'm under the impression you're getting the Xeon because it's basically an i5... But it can't overclock, yet you're spending money on overclocking parts? I would spend the extra $20 and just get a 4690K

Memory - I typically go with G.Skill memory, at the time I originally made the list, the corsair had a special going on it which is why I had selected it.

CPU - I am going with the Xeon because of the extra cores, I'll be able to boost it to about 3.8ghz without issue. So basically a non-overclocked i7 w/o graphics (Though if i wanted to, I could get the Xeon 1246 v3 for around $239. It will get me 0.1 Ghz and integrated graphics.. which really I'll always have a dedicated gpu, and if it fails, I will have an old one in a box to hold me over. - as for the overclocking, I am guessing you are saying this because of the Z97 Motherboard.(And maybe the cooler?) With the motherboard I wanted to make sure that it had two PCI-E 16x slots. I don't ever plan on SLI, but I currently am using an ASRock Z77 Pro 4, and I had a pci-e slot go bad, swapped the card to the other and it was back up and running. Plus, if i want a full atx board, I'll me right at that price point anyhow...

Case - I just really like the idea of a dual chamber case.

    - - - Updated - - -

I put something together real quick, if I wanted to go i5, with a different case, etc.. This is what I would probably get. (The price on the cpu is from a local Microcenter, taking into account the $30 bundle deal they have, and the mobo has a $20 rebate at this time.)
