1) Were the FAQs for optimal artifact path removed? Wanted to cross reference regarding sub as I'm no longer going outlaw/assn
2) interesting that with Thraxis treads, you can keep only true bearing off RtB- is this due to increased dmg off eviscerate and it being the single strongest RtB buff?
Thanks and great work

Not looking at tests but common sense leads me to believe that since True Bearing reduces sprint cooldown we can have a very high uptime on sprint with True Bearing up, which means very high uptime on RT damage buff, which ends up being worth it to leave true bearing on even if its the only buff.
On top of what Rahiel said about Sprint, remember that Thraxi's shifts our damage distribution even more significantly toward Run Through, which means the opportunity cost of losing extra Run Through's is more dramatic. Keeping TB allows MfD + AR to come off CD faster, which directly translates into more Run Through usage.
Is there anything concrete about using a 5 combo point finisher vs a 6 point finisher when using Deeper Stratagem as a talent, specifically with outlaw? I know you don't want to waste that extra combo point procced off of a double saber slash, but is it worth it to use a 5 combo point Run Through vs. a 6 combo point Run Through and potentially waste a combo point?
I really really REALLY dislike that Vers is ahead in t19M
I kinda like vers in rading, as if it the top dps stat the extra survival come as a bonus. Al the wonderful memory's of super high agility avoidance in TBC end, when you could avoidance tank as a rogue
Question about the Sub artifact traits on the latest Sims on the SimC site.
Everything I've seen suggested going down the right side picking up the nightblade + shadowstrike damage boosts, but this one went the other way and completely ignored that in favor of evis crit? is that really the optimal way to go? linked the SimC artifact build below.

also weaponmaster instead of master of sub?
Is shadowcraft and AMR okay to use right now or are they both needing updates? Currently at work now but when I get home I'd like to use em to sim my chars.
Only problem I see is the armory still hasn't updated and I'm 800 ilvl as opposed to 832 now
I just tried it out on the target dummy and it seems like Kingsbane now properly scales with mastery.
Removing my neck which has ~1k mastery on it reduced the base tick from 21.9k to 20.1k.
This wasn't the case 1 or 2 days before launch when i last tried it so this most likely hasn't been implemented in simcraft.
Can someone explain to me the intricacies of why Sub seems to scale so much with gear? I was trying to arrive at the conclusion myself but can't really figure why anything would scale better since nothing has a "base damage" value that I am aware of.
Because all the secondary stats are very close in value.
With all the secondaries roughly equal in value that means we get more value per budgeted ilvl than, for example, assassination (with crit>all). So a piece of haste/vers, or mastery/crit or any combination can be nearly the same value in terms of dps.
Obviously with different amounts of gear the stat weights will change one way or another. Also the stat weighs are not exactly equal to start with.
Outside of the spec valuing everything nearly the same, there's the mechanics involved with each stat. Crit doubles damage, obvious value, mastery increases finisher damage, vers (which is powerful for everyone) increases dmg by %, and haste increases attack speed (shadow tech procs), shadow blades hits, and energy gen. (I'm not certain if haste reduces gcd for us, or increases ticks for nb)
My heart's telling me to go for Assassination (I love the class fantasy). I also want to raid. Am I screwed?
Wait upcoming patch :P
I updated locally the spreadsheet with latest SimC changes. (no real changes besides numbers went a bit higher for each spec)
I'm still simming the new feature about stats that Skasch & me are working on.
Dunno if I'll update with or without yet.
Will prob wait the next patch.

As a Rogue, the best thread on MMO-C to talk about Legion SimC is this one, it will be a pleasure for me to discuss with you there.

Finally, you can retrieve a lot of Rogues simulations results on our Resources Website.
I changed the artifact build and 1 talent in the Sub example profile, and came out with a better DPS number than SimC has on the list. It's still behind the other 2 at 840, but closes the gap a bit.
