    Destro Talent Help

So I am starting to play around with Destro. I want to find a decent talent setup for 5 man's.

I know I can't have the best talents for any situation without constant switching, so I am trying to make a more middle ground setup.
I was hoping to get some input from those who have more experience with the spec.

These are the setups I have thought of with pros and cons.

    1. Backdraft / Entropy / FnB / GoServ / Havoc.
I like the incinerate Aoe spam with this build, it seems to keep up ok with other classes and no ramp up. Not having eradication is really noticeable single target however.

    2. Backdraft / Cata / Eradication / GoServ / Havoc.
This feels a bit stronger ST but almost all my aoe is tied to a CD. Also I lose GCDs for life tap since no Entropy.

These are what I have come up with at least. Open to all ideas though. Just remember the goal is not to maximise ST or AoE, but to find the best middle ground possible.

    Additional thoughts:
Perhaps GoSac is enough talent for Aoe if used with Backdraft / Incinerate spam?

Is it worth it to think of builds that will utilize SB for shard dump and ignore CB?

Is GoSup worth considering with infernal on trash and guard on boss?

I take cata and fnb and hedge my bets with cdf. Data a mob pack, rof then incinerate spam. Cdf is a great talent on bosses. Remember, you'll need to kill bosses AND trash with your setup in mythics. Don't focus too hard one way. Too much value being a Jack of all trades than be a specialist. In raids, though, you need to focus one way.

You can't go wrong with Shadowburn, it's insane in 5 man. Especially with Wreak Havoc as you get a net return of 3 shards when you kill 2 targets with. You also wont need need F&B to do AoE damage.

GoSac + Cataclysm or Rain of Fire and you got all the AoE you need. Wreak Havoc is insane, may as well "abuse" it while we can. Channel Demonfire is basically a free chaos bolt every 15 sec (Before haste), that doesn't apply eradication or benefit from any artifact traits. It is kinda bad outside of pure single target DPS.

AoE: Cataclysm if available, Havoc + immolate if not, use Rain of Fire if >4 mobs, chaos bolt if less. Snipe stuff with shadow burn. Don't be afraid to use Infernal, if Lord of Flames is on CD.

Single Target: Keep your dimensional rifts for these fights. If immolate is about to drop and cata is off CD, use cata to reapply. Try to land chaos bolts before eradication drops from the last chaos bolt.

    Edit: My "Allstar" setup:

    Shadowburn
    Cataclysm
    Demon Skin / Shadowfury
    Eradication
Burning Rush (Hard to keep up otherwise, but feel free to pick any talent you want here)
    Grimoire of Sacrifice
    Wreak Havoc

The reasoning for each: Shadowburn gives you more stuff to cast on the move, Cataclysm is great AoE and not entirely a loss on single target, Demon Skin / Shadowfury doesn't need explaining, Eradication because it adds a lot of single target damage, which is better than mediocre AoE and a short DPS CD, Grim Sac deals a ton of damage both in AoE and single target, Wreak Havoc in dungeons is a godsend. Wreak Havoc allows you to always keep havoc up on some target, allowing you to easily deal with adds which other classes usually hate. It wouldn't surprise me that not picking wreak havoc would tank your DPS a lot, when dungeons are so full of encounters with multiple targets.

I've been running two evenings of dungeons with the setup Degn proposed (Demon Skin, no Shadowfury) and I like it a lot. You still have to work for it, but at least you're competitive. Main advice I'd add is that you shouldn't be afraid to use your cool downs. They are quicker back up than you'd expect. The only thing I keep for bosses / difficult pulls is the Lord of Flames cooldown.

Mainly just wanted to say a quick thanks for the well balanced Dungeon build

Ive been running with a feral since released trying to gear up a little and have tried a bunch of different things, unfortunately him been 849 Im getting used to been second on charts on bosses ....

Anyway pretty much the best compromise ive had is: backdraft, Reverse Entropy, Eradication, Demon Skin, Dark Pact, GoSac and Soul Conduit.

This build gives me the best balance between the 2, we also run with a SP and never have issues with damage.

For faster trash The build above (SB, Cata, DS, erad, sac and wreck) is much better, but i found it much worse on bosses

    I've been running a similar build for mythics;
Shadowburn // Cataclysm // Demon Skin // Soul Harvest // Sacrifice // Wreak Havoc.

I find this a good combination to do strong aoe and single target dps.
Single target dps I'm pulling 300k @839ilvl wLust
Haven't had a chance to test since I got my third relic slot though at 844ilvl but will obv be stronger.
As soon as a boss has adds you can cheese havoc you wreck face.
