Laptop Low battery warning. Programs?

So I keep not getting the low battery warning. I did the obvious google stuff months ago, now im wondering if there is a program/app for Windows that will work good?

I often have this problem in say fullscreen (use the laptop only for streaming), its just a cheap now like 2+ year old laptop, it works just fine for my use

bump I can add that when the battery goes low..say 8%, my laptop screen goes black, 10 sec's later its normal, then last mins before it shutsdown.

This sounds like an interaction between your OS (Windows?) and your battery; namely that your OS is calculating the trend in your battery's charge and is projecting it as falling below the critical level and shutting itself off / going to sleep / etc. Turning it back on is resetting the projected battery life, allowing it to keep running longer. Unfortunately, I don't really have a solution for you. Sorry!
