    Total Raid DPS in 7.1

What's the net effect of the changes to the high performers in 7.1 ? I see 2-3% nerfs for Hunter and Mage, which are common in raids. Underplayed specs got buffed but I don't see players switching right away, but maybe. Is the net effect an overall minor nerf or an overall buff, assuming no one switches specs from now? Thanks.

New potion give 2500 stat and it last 1 minute. This is almost 5-10% dps buff.

So... smaller than the potions we already have, then.

    kinda depends on class/spec tbh

old war is like 3,5-4% dmg in a 5 minute fight as a sub rogue, i'd wager 2 minutes of 2500 agi is better for that spec.

A Primary stat is always going to out weigh a secondary. I.E Intellect > Crit

go into the mage forums, talk about fire mages and say that.

There are several specs that value a specific secondary over their primary. Fire mage is one example (crit). I bet a fire mage would rather have a 2500 crit potion than an int one.

Hopefully the new potions end up being better than Old War for me, because they're so much cheaper to make. Will have to test both and see.

    This is so wrong.

Why take your time to say such incorrect information so confidently?

That use to be the case, but now it's not. For example shadow has int as dead last, even below versatility for StM stat weights.

    Wow that's nuts.

For MM Hunts only mastery outweighs agility. Haste is close though.

5-10% for the duration it's active. Old War typically gives about 3 million damage per potion, and the new potion will give maybe 1-2 million. Might be better than Deadly Grace for some ranged though, and it's much cheaper alternative for easier content.
