Falcosuar pets so frustrating!

Has anyone found a fix for these insanely stupid pets?

what i mean is i am doing a pet battle world quest, and the pet is summoned before the match, survives the match, and then when its over, the pet is gone, its dismissed itself, so you dont get credit... and having to do 12 pet battle world quests, is SO frustrating, when only about 2-4 come up at a time, and half the time you dont get credit

please, has anyone found a fix for this frustration?

Yeah, took me 3 days to do that god damn quest with 2/3 for the battle quest. So god damn stupid, I put in a ticket and got a generic response. So, so frustrating.



I dismissed the pet, then resummoend it, and somehow had the "?" and said the quest was complete. Drove me damn crazy.

i only want to do it for the mounts man, i dont usually pet battle but 4 mounts man

Seems some people report weird progress in this part of the quest, if you have multiple falcosaurs simultaneously on the same quest. Maybe drop the WQ part from other falcosaurs and do one at a time? I'm not at that step yet, I decided to wait for this pet battle event to level them up in a bang.

why not just get the free "instantly level your pet to 25" from your garrison?

each character who has a pet menagerie, gets a quest for a free "level a pet to 25" so i have 11 i dident know i had :P

Ugh this happened to me last night. I did the WQs on my mage, all of the pet battle ones and only got 2/3 when I did atleast 4 quests. So I go on my alts, complete the world quests again and still nothing. It randomly fixed today and I was able to complete it once a new batch of WQs came out.

for me one of my pets needed to a an "elite rare" quest idk exactly what that is, but if its one of those blue ones, i had allready done them all, got on just now, and suddenly its done for no reason, its weird

I have somewhere around 750 battlepets. Those free stones were all used during WoD Ditto for DH ones. Or actually... I might have one yet to be used. Prolly gonna use it on the fourth falcosaur.

And yeah, seems some bugs in this q-line are for the good (get credit for WQs while having a different pet out and stuff) to the bad (no credit at all despite doing multiple WQs).

Overall seems quite the bugfest, but since it's 4 free mounts for reasonable effort...

Along the questline aswell you get another insta-25 stone. So I used that on another falcosaur last night. Working on my 3rd falcosaur mount now )

Sadly the last 2 are gated behind Nighthold Raid kills. I have the first 2 mounts too. Just waiting for Nighthold now

I honestly can say I haven't had the issue you are describing, it sounds rather annoying though.

Most of my issue stem from my own silliness of having the wrong hatchling out, or putting the hatching in the second pet battle slot, therefore it dismisses it in the world automatically and I don't notice lol.

That could be it. Put the pet you want in the first slot. Flying, and certainly gliding, can also unsummon pets.

Yeah they're certainly annoying. Ended up using a Companion addon (Rematch) that keeps one pet summoned out.

i have 3/4 of them and the 3 i have are 25 and im waiting for the last wc to pop to get 4th

I focused on one first (at the raid boss quest now), only starting the other three now. But I didn't run into any problems except when I didn't have the pet out for one pet battle WQ. I actually think it doesn't even have to participate in the fight to get credit (but it's been a few days, I'm not quite sure)

Specifically, only the snowfeather and sharptalon hatchling quests can be done for now, the bloodgazer and direbeak ones will have to wait for Nighthold to open.

I am running all 4 and I am halfway through on couple of them

Thing is bugged and you can skip the whole daily thing if you have max level alts. I switched to an alt and it finished my PvP quest I am sure Blizzard will fix it by the time I am done with couple of them

Something to note. If you have alts at 110 you can multiply your chances of it not failing. Also when you complete a quest(s) on 1-4 of the pets, if you relog to your alts the next quests in the chain spawn again.

That sounds like an unintended mechanic.
