You might want to learn history, not only what western biased media tells you. If yesterday's elections are something to go by, you'd realize that most media are full of shit.

NATO is the one that ruined it all by sponsoring military coup in Ukraine that ended with civil war. Russia was simply forced to react to defend its citizens. Whole mess is NATO's fault.

But this post is pretty much pointless. Mainstream western media has been pushing propaganda bullshit since day one of conflict, omitting so many facts that completely change picture, so many are brainwashed and think everything is Russian's fault. Nothing will change their mind. Some things are Russian fault, Russian propaganda machine is equally bad and also tries to deflect blame, but overall NATO did way more bad stuff in this conflict.

Like with Trump and Brexit in many cases "event margins" are razor-thin. Just a bit of push and previously unthinkable things happen.

And US (with EU willful blindness) certainly provided a lot of pushing of Ukraine toward war against Russian interests.

    *facepalm*

Let me educate you on history and basic logic.

NATO supported illegal coup. What happens after military coups? Civil war. That's pretty much guaranteed. Only delusional people would think everyone would be ok with coup.

Large part of country were content with old government, so they didn't like coup. Crimea was a special case because historically it was never part of Ukraine to begin with. They were gifted to Ukraine during USSR times, which didn't change a thing back then because it was still part of same country. There were no Ukrainians living there.

Did you know that Crimea tried to leave Ukraine in 1992 after USSR collapsed? They wanted to do referendum, completely democratically. Kiev didn't allow it, people who tried to organize it were killed. NATO with their freedom activists were nowhere to be seen.

So anyway, after coup they saw their chance to finally leave Ukraine without getting killed in process, so they took it. Where was NATO with their freedom agenda? Weren't NATO supposed to support freedom movements? Nope, not this time because they wanted freedom from pro-NATO illegal government. But that didn't stop them. They voted, left Ukraine and this time didn't get killed.

Other parts of Ukraine who didn't like coup wanted to leave as well. So what does temporary government does? Sends military to kill opposition. Important factor is at that time government was not elected. It was illegal in every way. Where were NATO freedom activists? Nowhere to be seen. Russia obviously didn't want Russians to be slaughtered, so they sent some help, even though they deny it.

Poroshenko was elected only after starting war.

So NATO started that shit by sponsoring coup, by supporting illegal unelected government, by not supporting those who wanted freedom. NATO's double standards in action.

That's the part you don't know or don't want to know.

Both sides aren't angels, but NATO did far more bad stuff than Russia did.

If old president was removed by democratic means instead of military coup (that no country should have supported, yet NATO countries did), if it wasn't for NATO whining about Crimea that left Ukraine in completely democratic way (democracy is only good when it works for nato countries. when someone does something democratic that they don't like, its suddenly bad), there wouldn't be mess that exists today. Then they have nerve to blame it all on Russia and create sanctions against WTO rules.

    Do YOU listen to yourself?

Its so amazing to me how pro-USSR the left was many years ago, and how magically in the last 10 years a country that has basically not even 5% as bad as it once was is now the greatest enemy we face to the same people.

I've been saying this for awhile. It's basically President Putin at this point. Welcome to the United States of Russia.
