Should i switch loot spec to ele now?

Hello all i've got a question. I mostly play enhancment with a gs of 884 now. As legendarys i got the belt, the chest and the pvp ring. Would it be clever now to switch loot specialisation to elemental so i may get the good ele ones too? The other enhancement legendarys are not so good right now and the pve ring can drop in both spec's.
    Thanks for the advice.

Depends on how badly you want the ring. In enhance theres a smaller pool of legendaries you can get now so theres a higher chance of getting the ring.

    1) Are you actually planning to play elemental? If not, there's 0 reason to swap loot spec.

    2) If you are planning to split time between enhance and elemental, I suggest staying enhancement until you get the Eye of the Twisting Nether ring (Eye). Because you have 2 enhance legends + 1 shared legend, you have a 1/7 chance of your next legendary being the Eye as elemental but a 1/5 chance as Enhancement. Having the Eye is too valuable for you as enhancement. Coincidentally, the eye will also be the most valuable legend for 7.1.5 as elemental.

Currently, there are two proposed talent build for 7.1.5: Icefury and Ascendance. The Icefury build is currently slated as the stronger option if you have any combination of legendary items that does not include the belt. For this build, the Eye will be the strongest legendary. The build also devalues the two current strongest legendary items: boots and shoulders. The Ascendance build in contrast is only good if you have the lava burst belt but not the eye. Without the belt, you should not play it. If you have the belt + the Eye, Icefury build is stronger.

    3) If you plan to switch to Elemental full-time, then you have a better case for swapping loot specs. That said, the Eye is still the most desirable, and it's up to you how to play the odds.

    4) All this is speculative still, as there are new builds to come on the PTR. Various legends, talents, and spells could be buffed/nerfed in the coming weeks on the PTR. The only thing you can really do is accumulate as much gear as possible with various stat combinations. Right now, Ascendance build has the same stat combo as Enhance, but Icefury build looks to be a Crit/Mastery combo. Current Ele is Crit/Haste. Secondary stats are still in-flux and hoarding gear until you know for sure is worthwhile.

You will want the boots instead of waist for Mythic+ after the 7.1.5 buff. It's a much higher DPS boost. I have chest, waist and boots and I use chest + boots for M+ (even pre-buff it's better) and chest + waist for raids.

You can perfectly use boots in M+ by just swapping them on with a macro before ghost wolfing, you keep the buff after unequipping the boots.

How do you guys even get so many legendaries? Been doing m+ every day since its release, and I've gotten one legendary so far.

i am in a similar spot.
i am enhancer 880+ and got the spirit boots + aikanus bracers both are pretty bad imo.
i always thought about rolling ele so with the changes (and buffs) i want to try it. i had the loot on ele for quiet a while but i didnt drop a legendary yet. you made me think if it might be smarter to keep it on enhancer to get the % dmg buff ring...
lavaburst belt will prob get nerfed before they released it and i dont know how good the shoulders and boots are for ele... so i might stick to enhancer duo to the better chance for the ring (which is awesome for enhancer aswell)

or does anyone got infos how good the hsoulders / boots for ele are?
