[Prestige] - How the end of this season on dec 13 and prestige levels work?

I have been farming prestige on my guy hoping to get that amazing mount, however, I just got surprised with the info that this season is going to end in less than 12 days, and I have this time to farm 2 levels of prestige (is it enough time? ) How will ur prestige level works when season resets? Will we all be reseted to level 0? The rewards for the levels will change? Thanks for the info!

No it won't reset.
All that will happen is the prestige cap is increased from 4 (lvl 50) to 8 (lvl 50).

Then, nothing will change? Will I loose the mount from prestige 4 if I miss the date on season reset?

Your prestige progress will not change and the mount will still be awarded at reaching prestige 4 (lvl 0).
I imagine there are alrdy set rewards for prestige 5 thru 13.
