1070 GTX vs 1080 GTX on Battlefield 1?

Hi lads. I am about to get a 1440p monitor to play Battlefield 1 on high quality. However, I am aware of that this change will require me to purchase a stronger graphic card. I have the 970 GTX right now, and I want to play Battlefield on med-high. I was researching this and saw this chart about Best Gaming Monitors FPS Comparison, however they don't include what the FPS are for medium and high settings, and I am looking to have above 70 FPS.

So what are your experiences with GTX 1070 and 1080 on games with high system requirements, on 1080P or1440P monitors?

I had ~90+ (often 100+ in-game) fps in BF1 Ultra Multi-player @ 1440p with an OCed GTX 1080 + OCed i7 CPU

an OCed 1070 should give you 60-70 fps in BF1 Ultra .. and way more on Med-High


in fact even a GTX 1060 6GB may be able to do 60-70 fps @ 1440p on Med-High settings
