    Pretty well in what regard?

I don't really live in any other country than my own so I can't comment on how life is for the rest of Europe. It's a lot of countries to keep track of. I only have a lot of contacts and friends in the US and Canada.

I'm wondering if you're actually Swedish? Because if you lived here, you'd understand what I'm talking about.

Corporate propaganda, plain and simple. And American popular culture that glorifies the self, selfishness, me me me and only me. "Get rich, or die trying."

You know, the ridiculous thing is that if u work You are punished with the income tax so some fuckers can get free shiet. Dis only demoralizes ppl, it shows that You dont have to work, the govement and suckers that wake up everyday to earn some coin legally in job will do it for You.

If we want to have taxes to have "free" shiet (that is not free because we pay for it in taxes ), only those who pay taxes should be able to use public services.

And don't give me this bullshit that there are ppl that aint able to work, everyone are able to do simple jobs. But if u want to help them go ahead create a private charity institution, because i would never give a damn coin on the free loaders if i wasnt forced by the state to do it ;/

And regarding free services like medical service. I dont use public medical service because it is shit, well every goverment ruled institution works worst than private companies, the difference is if private company works bad it bankrupts, the public on the other hand is saved with tax money.

I think people should care less about tax % in general. Your purchasing power is what matters.

If I'm taxed 50% and have everything I need, luxury items and holidays from my 35 hour work week I'm a lot better off than someone who does the same work, is taxed 25%, and struggles to get by even when putting in more hours.

Tax rate really has very little to do with peoples standard of living.

Wouldn't want to live in a society where people with your values were in charge.

    Indeed.

Catering to the crowd which just wants to pile the cash and earn more than they can ever spend due to greed can go to hell.
I'm comfortably paying taxes, knowing that if I'm ever in need of medical care, I won't be bankrupt or forced to die so as to not burden my relatives with the costs of my treatment. I am fortunate to be living in a country where being one peg below Middle class doesn't mean you're living in a slum with no hopes for the future.

oh noes high taxes in return we get a functioning society, what a horrible thing indeed. People like to rag on Sweden, Swedistan etc yet we are one of the top countries to live in the world. I'll gladly pay taxes if it means less poor people and less crime, healthcare for everyone and so on. Exactly like I prefer to see criminals that can be rehabilitated be that instead imprisoned over and over again, because it makes the society a lot more pleasant to live in and I want that.

Yeah poor Sweden, we sure are in a struggle here. rofl

Pretty much every country. Most first world nations are basically pretty nice places where the primary differences are resultant from human capital, geographic, and cultural differences rather than government policy.

I am not. Regardless of the nation, I'm always highly skeptical that the only solution to any given government deficit is extracting more money from the populace. I'm especially skeptical of this in countries that already have unusually high tax rates.

    It's all relative.

If you are really successful, then there is no real incentive to stay in Sweden. Due to wealth taxes (50%, lol)

You can basically net gain approx 4-5x the pay (400-500%) for some positions, in the US, compared to Sweden.

Talk all you want about the poor, but they are not me. What did they do for me? Did they thank me, for the tax i payed them?
Did they give me a hug?

No. They sit and waste their ignorance upon the internet On forums, spewing drivel, being "Average". "Being Common".

The "Average" is a person who is someone not worth laying your penny on - because the "Average", in Sweden, is a slacker living on lax living conditions. You can trick the System of the Arbetsförmedlingen, you can even chomp your way through school if you put the least bit of your spine into it.

And yet, here we are, trying to discuss the great merits of "The Average". It's a concept. A concept of strangers. You would NEVER think of, in any other context - So why would you pay money ot them?

Do you donate your money to the Beggars in the streets? Or do you pass them by, just like all else? Cause they are more real, than you ever will see, in that context. My assumption is, you don't. So calling people to go to hell, to get payed for their success, is just envy. Nay, worse.

It's the same selfish greed, except expressed in "moral imagined highground", when you don't deserve that moral highground to begin with.

I guess you dont live in Sweden, or you're one of those who makes more then 3-4 "average joes" does here, and are pissed that you have to tax for about half of your paycheck, and would rather have it el americano style where you instead pay hundred of thousands for going to the hospital and whatnot, and make the "little people" die under your shoes.

Except the context of taxes is income to begin with ; So if you are high on income, you are hampered more, for no other reason, than charity, in terms of taxes.

Whatever you say buddy, whatever you say.

I for one am glad to be living in a country where the entire population is valued based on them being humans, not their greed. Your way of thinking is downright deplorable and the less we can have of it in our government, the better.

The "average" in Sweden is not a slacker trying to scheme money from the government, it's a normal person working and living his/her life in peace. Again, your views are deplorable.

You sound like a sociopath tbh, not saying you are one but you do sound like one.
I mean most people with an IQ over 12 understand that these taxes help people to get to the place where they then can start to complain about wealth taxes, you don't seem to get that. I bet you were raised on the streets as a poor boy and pulled yourself up by the bootstraps right? Society did nothing for you and you owe it nothing, right? It's not some sort of coincidence that we have some of the highest living standards in the world here.

Just as Cattle live for no other reason, than to nourish you. They die for you. Their existence, is to die for you.

You know what the difference is, with average people, and Cattle?

Average people are average, because they set themselves there - by their own excuses, by their own reasonings, by their own merit, did they reap what they sow.

So, technically, you're not really in charge, of wether someone else gets f'ed up in life ; They could fix that themselves. But do you feel pity upon the cattle that feeds you? Do you shed tears, for your hamburger? For your chicken? For your pizza?

Do you shed tears, for your common life products? No. No you don't. You live in that condition.

Which is the funny part. you try to claim moral highground, but only in certain contexts, cause that's when it garners you, to "look good", compared to thoose succesful.

Don't hate the succesful. Just accept that some put in more work than you did.

There's probably not even a diagnosis as base for his attitude, which makes it all the more disgusting.
"I make money so I'm worth more as a human being than millions of people who work and support themselves and lead comfortable lives, because GREED is where it's at!!!!".

Yeah, not an attitude I'm envious of at all. I'd rather be "average" and live happily than a Trump if being rich came at the cost of becoming a self-centered greedy little shit.

The sensational argument of "That sounds horrible", is not a logical counter-argument.

Is that why Sverige demokraterna is a major part, where people get discriminated upon due to ethnicity?

Is that why the Healthcare, gets cut down, where they consider they can milk some extra money from it?

Is that why the public sector of cops, gets less and less money - Shifting people into mindsets of Vigilante justice?
Cause they garner the humans, the people - and not the greed?

Because, we did, in fact, take ALL THE MONEY from the rich, and put it into Valuing people, RIGHT?! I bet you believe Sweden has no corruption, as well.

You are sentimental, but your views don't reflect reality. At all.

Yes, my psychopath, yes. I'll listen and swallow all you say.

And please, drop it. I'm making a lot more then the average joe does in Sweden. I still like to pay a rather high tax to have all the benefits we do here. I worked my ass to get where I am, coming from a low income family which barely made enough to support us.

You on the other hand is either delusional or coming from one of those rich families where they have no idea how real life works.
