Macy's Closing 68 Stores, KMart/Sears Closing 150 - Trump?

I have a nagging feeling that they're not closing stores cus they're lacking for money. They just wanna save money. Close stores, fire employees. Gotta buy yourself another million dollar home.

Because Kmart is raking in the savings by closing locations over six years.

These large department stores have been in trouble for many years since Amazon stopped selling books.
They did not pivot and will go the way of Blockbuster.

They didn't stop selling books, they just take their sweet ass time these days, even with pre-ordered ones. Probably because they are too busy getting all the dodgy chinese electronics to the people and trying to become another player in the streaming market that really no one needed...

It's a natural reaction to defend someone you like. I think it's also a pretty natural reaction to perceive an attack against someone you voted for as an attack against your own personal judgement.

I have opinions and stances from both sides of the coin. So for me to pick a team would be dishonest to myself.

When it comes to crediting Trump, you have to first ask if the event is positive or negative. If positive, you can thank Trump as he is our new president. If negative, Trump isn't president yet so it can't be his fault.

And after the 20th, If positive, you can thank Trump as he is our new president. If negative, it was obviously Obama's fault for leaving him such a mess to clean up.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. And while I'm not overly familiar with the Ford deal, that could at least be continued to Trump having some sort of factor in the final decision.

If you also read the articles and sources within the articles, this has been coming for a while, especially in the Sears/kmart decision. Macy's had been steamlining since 15, and after a slow Christmas they are going to close stores to concentrate on their online portal and the Chinese market.

Amy Shumer ignored my post about her nude performance picture still hanging in NYC's comedy cellar, because she posted some joke about working naked and I was at comedy cellar a few weeks before. Then a comedian made a joke about GWAR serving burgers for a living, so I retweeted Oderus Urungus with their tour dates, saying they still rocked the house regularly (at the time, RIP Oderus). The comedian and his followers started giving me shit for causing a twitter war with GWAR, even though no one else responded. I never posted on twitter again...

Trump has threatened companies that import goods to sell with tariffs. Sears imports most of what it sells. Ergo Trump gets credit for this.
