Best way to farm Tusks of Mannoroth?

Only do a full mythic clear if you're also going for mount.



You use a heroic lockout to save the lockout.

1. Clear all but garrosh on heroic on nonplate
2. Start a private group in LFG on saved lockout
3. Join the LFG group on plate (easier if in same guild, sometimes issues so need to make it non-private)
4. Wait until plate gets lead then boot the lockout saver
5. Kill Garrosh
6. Repeat 2-5 for every plate
7. Extend lockout new weeks

After you accept the group invite on your plate, lead is passed in 3-5 minutes since the leader is offline. After that happens then you kick your lockout saver. I don't know if this part is necessary for SoO, tbh. Better safe than sorry.

if you are doing this with two characters, as soon as the farmer (plate classs) gets into the instance the character you are using for the lockout can just leave the group. you dont need to pass leader or loggout or anything. Within 60 seconds the lockout character will teleported outside the instance and the farming character can finish it with ease without destroying the lockout. rinse and repeat.

I thought I would never get it, until I recently did. Took almost a year of farming heroic on seven toons though.

I'm so confused because of Wowhead saying that the tusks are not obtainable any more.
Need some proof to start farming them myself

Those will go for a high price if not like around 6m, even tho is farmable it's still hard to get and people rather pay to get it, it's like a mount that goes around that price.

I've seen so many warrs/dks with those shoulders that I lost the appetite of even trying to farm them.
Might try to get the jaggernaut tho.

Yikes. Not that I would use just your anecdotal evidence, but that would mean these are akin to the Ruhkmar and Oonydasta mounts. Like 0.02%.

Kill frogs on Timeless Isle for Lesser Charms.

Took me around 2.3k~ kills. Don't use the mog, but it's nice to have them.

At long last, it is finished. I have the Tusks of Mannoroth. Took me 508 heroic Garrosh kills over the course of a month. Got it on a bonus roll. I killed him 20-30 times per day while the game was windowed and playing Granblue Fantasy. Got 250,000 Timeless Coins while farming Gulp Frogs for Lesser Charms to buy bonus rolls. Bought myself a lifetime stash of magical pet biscuits.
