Storm is a Cutting Edge 2-Day Mythic Progression Guild founded in June-2016. While maintaining a laid back and friendly environment, we pride ourselves on killing the hardest content available. Our reduced schedule compared to other similarly progressed guilds allow us to spend time doing other things in game and out. Don’t let our reduced schedule fool you though, we take our raid time very seriously and we expect all of our raiders to do the same. If you’re a highly skilled player and share our goals, you probably won’t find a better guild out there.

Recruitment Needs
The list below is only a general need of classes. If you play your class at an exceptionally well level, we highly encourage you to apply regardless of class. We recruit the player, not the class.
Expectations of Raiders
-Previous Mythic raiding experience is a plus
-The desire to min/max your character(s) and stay on the forefront of theorycrafting
-The ability to play all roles for your class effectively
-Consistent TOP-TIER level of play. With a reduced schedule, we need intelligent and skilled players.
-Check guild website daily
-Ability to come to raid prepared, this includes, but not limited to, bringing enough consumables and having knowledge of fights we are working on.
-Understand the need for criticism. Learn and improve from mistakes.
-Active outside of raid times.

-90% raid attendance required to remain on our raid roster
-Loot is handled via loot council. We feel this is the best way to improve the guild as a whole.
-We are mature adults and as such, respect is mandatory to all players internally and externally of Storm
-Members are preferred to be the age of 21 or older, but exceptions can be made under the right circumstances.

Stoic is one of Bonechewer's oldest guilds; we are on the Alliance side on the US-Reckoning battlegroup. We are a group of friends who enjoy playing video games with each other, defeating challenging encounters, and pvping. We are an inclusive guild, whose members include many genders, nationalities, sexual orientations, races, and ethnicities. We value loyalty, respect, and being awesome.
Stoic has two raid teams:
Wipes at 1% (1/10 Mythic) - This raid team's goal is to completely clear each raid tier before the next one is released. We expect a fairly high level of dedication and attendance from our members, but are accommodating of players needing to take a night off occasionally. We want players to avoid burning out, to enjoy the challenge of mythic progression, and to build lasting friendships within the guild.
We keep our roster lean, so that we don't have to bench many players. While we consider ourselves hardcore, we don't do split runs, nor do we require players to switch to the "best" class at the time. We do however expect players to excel at their class, to understand how to optimize their talents for different encounters, and to learn how play multiple same-role specs of their class.
We are currently looking to add a few members to our roster. Exceptional players of any spec and class are encouraged to apply. Our highest in-demand openings include:
- Ranged dps (elemental shaman, moonkin, shadow priest, mage preferred)
- Ranged dps with a healing off-spec
We raid Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 8 pm - 11 pm CST (server time).
Death Viper Assassins (8/10 Heroic) - This raid team is a great fit for skilled players that don't have as much time for raiding or as much raid experience. It has more flexible attendance expectations, and players don't have to spend as much time to eke out those last few percentages to optimize their play. This is not to say that this raid team isn't ambitious or successful in its own right! A positive attitude, good listening skills, and drive to improve are all important for this team’s members.
This team raids Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8 pm - 11 pm CST (server time), and is currently recruiting:
- Ranged dps (especially hunters, mages)
- A non-shaman, non-paladin healer

1 Healer: Holy Pally or Holy Priest
2 Ranged DPS: Warlock, Elemental Shaman, Hunter
1 Melee DPS: Warrior

Our founding members are comprised of long-time hardcore raiders who have been playing together since TBC. We are a very friendly, experienced, active progression raiding guild. We are currently 7/7M in Emerald Nightmare, and 3/3H in Trial of Valor, and 12/12H in The Nighthold. Our environment is one that is focused on getting raid content down swiftly while still having fun. We're not a bleeding edge progression guild, but we're not super casual either.
We raid 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 - 11 EST
We've been around since day-one and have been raiding for 10 years now, and are the only guild on Zul'Jin to have done so. Most of our members are out of school and have jobs, so we offer a more mature, stable, balanced environment. How many other raiders can say they've done everything from Ragnaros to Archimonde (twice) in the same guild?
