Jim Sterling vs Digital Homicide. The lawsuit is gone (Dismisal with prejudice)

    http://www.thejimquisition.com/a-sta...ith-prejudice/

Would be about time, and a classy way to end it. No back and forth "Now I demand money".

When a lawsuit is dismissed with prejudice, the court is saying that it has made a final determination on the merits of the case, and that the plaintiff is therefore forbidden from filing another lawsuit based on the same grounds.
For those who want to know what "With Prejudice" means. It's a polite way of saying "fuck of, and never mention this again"

I think you mean Digital Homicide vs Jim Sterling. Plaintiff first, defendant second.

The only sad part about this story is that it is hard to explain how wrong he was when filing the paperwork. He tried to do it himself. Things like incorrectly thinking he was filing the paperwork with a state court when in fact it was done through the federal system with his particular court just happening to be named after the state he was in.

That was the original one, they then kept it going with some other shenaningans after they tried to sue everyone on steam because they gave them bad reviews, which lead to them being kicked of steam.

The first case was set to be dismissed because Romine couldn't represent himself, while his argument said it was DigiHom that was the main part of the case. He got a deadline to amend the case, and if not it would be dismissed without prejudice. He did amend it, and then it led to the current dismissal with prejudice.

If you want some more in depth information for all that's been going on, I suggest watching Leonard French's youtube videos on this:

He's a copyright attorney, who goes through various copyright court cases and looks at them from a law standpoint and explains it so that it's much easier to understand. He's covered cases like DigiHom v Sterling, Matt Hoss v h3h3, prenda law trolls being arrested, Carol Highsmith v Getty and others.
