Is Simcraft's sphere of insanity bugged?

Anyone know if Simcraft has a bug with Sphere of Insanity? Yesterday I ran simcraft without sphere of insanity and today I picked up sphere of insanity, so I ran Simcraft again to see what the dps change would be, and everysingle time I get less dps with Sphere of Insanity than before I picked it up.

Sim two copies of your current profile but override the traits in one of them. In other words, replace the rest of the line that says "artifact=".

Copy it and then go to the wowhead artifact calculator to modify your traits. Then click the "Link" link in the top right. Copy the text in the box for "SimulationCraft". Paste this back into the sim profile that you were changing.

If the copy of your profile with fewer traits does more damage, I would be very surprised.
