I'm at work and fucking miserable. Better be a terrible game to compensate.
Hmmm, just realized that with Malcolm Mitchell going to IR and there not being any real replacement for him that it's a very likely possibility that the Patriots game plan all along has been centered around not featuring the WR's much beyond WR1 and WR2.
Makes some sense cause I think the Chiefs are pretty good at CB but a bit slow and old at linebacker. Attacking them (and the middle of the field) with RB's and TE's seems a much smarter plan than testing the boundary.
Cause if they were going to go with lots of WR focus they would have definitely added replacements for Mitchell before sending him to IR this late.

WR Dorsett (freshly acquired from the Colts) is active for this game tonight. I seriously doubt he'll see any balls thrown his way unless there's some kind of broken play where he gets wide open.
Isn't Dorsett just there to go deep and occupy safeties so the white guy(s) can catch everything? Shit, might mean Cooks gets to catch some if there are leftovers with them short a white guy.
lol
Trust me, Cooks will see plenty of balls thrown his way this year and possibly even this game already. Dorsett though, he's been there like 5 days, no rapport with Brady at all. Brady is VERY high on trust and there's no way he had enough time with Dorsett to build any.
I'd be astounded if Dorsett makes any meaningful catches this game. I think he's just there in case of emergency and even then, probably like you said, just to run go routes.

Hightower warming up with the D-line and not the linebackers. Looks like he's the one taking over for Ninkovich then and David Harris will take his spot at LB.
Going to be verrrrrrry interesting which linebacker they'll put on Tyreek Hill if he lines up in the backfield. I'm going to guess Van Noy. Or maybe they'll be smart and use Chung.
Oh heres the cringe about the patriots superbowl
Nice of them to remind everyone what the score was when Mark Wahlberg left the stadium at the end of the third quarter.
So close to kickoff!!

Footballs back baby! WOO
First blood! DAMN this feels good.
I forgot just how much live football gets the blood pumping.
The guy that forced the fumble is Jordan Richards, who I have been bitching and moaning about all off season. Not only did he get the start, he made a game defining play.
Clearly I just need to not have any opinions about football, ever. xD
Wonder if the Chiefs plan is to go down 28-3
That looked like an amazing catch, but that's coming back, it hit the ground.
Chiefs manage to survive that whole ideal. Nice. Now don't fumble it straight away this time!
Wow, surprised the Pats ran that. I thought they'd just try to draw the offside.
I'm usually not a fan abotu just running it straight ahead on short yardage, but I like it here in the first game of the season. Let the O-line see if the can get the push. See how they stack up.
Apparently though, they don't stack up quite yet, cause they had no push at all.
Chiefs O seems to be not struggling at all so far, when they actually keep the ball. But this will probably jynx it.
This rookie seems to have gotten over his early nerves.
Bengals hand burfict a 40 million dollar extension.
