You not understanding something and it making sense aren't the same thing. Blizzard has often been very quiet on how MMR works, but when they reset it in cata they explained how and why they set it up the way they did. That is how they explained it.

Solo que for Arena is a good idea as long as its not Matched with others who que as a group

The greatest purpose of Solo Que is to make the game more balancing since the Arena wont be filled with FOTM setups as long as the RNG in the solo que system sees all specs as a equal %

Its a good idea to balance the game because blizzard havent managed to balance it in the way it should have been done
