The Active shooter on Las Vegas strip thread (http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...-strip/page174) has gone on to be a thread with the same discussions and posters as the existing megathread on gun control (http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...Control-Thread).
There's really no need to have an extended discussion running in two threads and at this point the Las Vegas shooting is no longer an active shooter situation. If the knife/sword/switchblade discussion merits a thread, then let it stand on its own as a clearly labeled discussion of them.

Requesting Thread Lock
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.

We agreed that there was no need to have 2 threads on the same topic, when one of the threads only ended up on that discussion and wasn't started for that purpose. The Las Vegas thread is closed now, which makes this thread no longer needed as well, so closing this one too.
