I think this type of game is less suited to fall into the same pits. Star citizen is an absolute sandbox game. This is far more a mix between sandbox and themepark.

early access exists so that CiG can say Star Citizen is 'released' and no longer required to give refunds under EU law, which says any pre-order can be refunded for any reason prior to release.

Yes. But it is just standard Human, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf. There are subs of each though.

Vaporware.
They have been talking about this game for YEARS but all they show are some minor things.
The guy who started the company is apparently some MMORPG fan. Unsure if he's still around or been kicked, but if not, he should be kicked. It's probably his fault trying to create that perfect MMORPG (impossible) instead of playing MMORPG Tycoon 2 and focusing on delivering a game that is 6-7/10 and not 10/10 and building on that foundation.

The Vek Orc subrace look rather similar to WoW's trolls, so I maybe have a go at making one!

i've had the same thought. it's not looking like combat is going to be any good in this one at all so far.
