Few words about guild

AnV was formed way back in 2007 and has been running successful 25 man raids ever since (transitioned to 20 man Mythic raiding, obviously).
We are a friendly, mature late night raiding guild with a casual approach to progression raiding. We recognize that real life takes precedence over the game and we will do our utmost to cater to individual requirements.
In all these years of existence we had few guild meetings where we had a lot of fun time meeting each other and spending some excellent time raiding pubs!

We have a good core team but we are always looking to add some skilled players who could bring improvements to our progress raiding.

We prioritize a fun and healthy guild atmosphere over pushing for immediate progression. As such, we use our guild forums for scheduling people for raids and rotate the squad with the intent of everyone having a chance to raid at least once/week.

Just to make it clear - AnV stands for Acta non Verba, the name under which we raided for more then 6 years. It had to be changed since the name was already taken on Frostmane when we transferred. Raiding goals

- Clear Heroic content and hit some Mythic, as far as possible while it's comfortable for all -

We require all members are:
Mature and drama free
Skilled
Prepared to wipe when learning a boss
Prepared for raiding - including appropriate gear, enchants, specs, flasks etc
Able to attend a large number of raids without dropping out (although we recognize that real life comes first)
Able to at least listen to Team Speak (we prefer it if you can also speak). Although and because we have members from all Europe English is language that is in use when raiding.

We provide:
Ranking system where dedication is awarded
Fair loot distribution where everyone have chance to gear up pretty fast
Fun and social guild environment
Chance to see and experience most, if not every, in game encounter before it get nerfed!

Easter break is behind us, we got back to raiding and got some nice progress on Anomaly. Got it to 25% on first night, looking to get new kill tonight!

Recruitment is orientated toward strengthening roster for ToS and it goes:

Summer slowly crawled in and made our tired raiders look for resorts to refresh them self for new victories early so we had to slow down pace and call Mythic progression after 4 down.
Now we regrouped and walking in to Tomb of Sargeras to claim new victories over ancient villains led by infamous Kil'jaeden himself!

Gates of AnV are opened once again!

Yup, recruitment is back on, and we are looking for few DPS and healer or two to add to our ranks in order to be as prepared as possible to smash some titans on Argus!

At the moment we're at 2/9 Mythic bosses in ToS with good odds to get Harjatan to list really soon.

Last week we had some really good tries on Sisters, getting them down to last few % so this week is expected to score another kill and move on to the Desolate Host!

We did got some people in for trial and some more for Casual raider rank (that have been re-established) but we are still looking to add some more people to our roster. There's room for one more of anything except perhaps a hunter so it doesn't really matter much which class from the list below you are as long as you know how to soak stuff

We're done with sisters, Monday wasn't good day to be them when we stepped in to ToS! Kill counter say 4/9!

Now we are getting our shiny weapons ready to test hospitality of Host, let see how log he'll resist before getting from "to do" to "done" list.

Host kept his head safe on his shoulders cos we went for 2 week break to get some rest from Tomb since it started to drain life out of people but we were back to proper raiding as soon as Antorus opened its gates!
Got normal clear on Wed and Thu, just to get familiar with place and with some HC kills on Monday we concluded week one. Since then we are taking it slow, just as we like it , and we got our self some nice 7 heroic kills with good prospects to get The Coven of Shivarra down on Monday and maybe some pulls/kill on Varimathras as well.

We had some rerolls from ToS and raid composition got shuffled a bit so once again we are looking for some more classes to add to our roster in order to get ready in time for Mythic, hopefully after Christmas and NY break (22.12."17. - 03.01."18.)

Wot?! This guys have only 9/11? You gotta be kiddin me, it's joke, right?
Well, NO!
After "chill out of TOS and save sanity break" we raided for about 10 days and went for X-mass and NY break! (Yup, we like our breaks )
In those 10ish days of raiding and only after 5 or 6 proper raid nights we got back to raiding this reset and are looking at Aggramar as our targeted kill for Monday raid.
Not bad I'd say, right?

New year got some new shifts and life changing things happened to some of our raiders who now have way less time to play so we are looking to add few people to our ranks, healers above else but there are few open spots in each category so feel free to apply

Targeted kill - checked!

Aggramar is down with some time left to throw glove to Argus face and challenge him for duel on coming reset. 11/11 heroic is expected after this reset which would mean that goal we have as guild for each raid tier is achieved and time for some extra fun in Mythic is ahead.

Expeted ----> Achieved!

Titan is dead, Argus is saved!

But Mythic bosses rose from dark abyss of burning Throne and some immediate action is needed!
That is exact reason why we are looking to add more heroes to our ranks, to fight villains and save Azeroth once again!

As predicted we got Argus down on Monday raid and with some 40ish min left to raid went for Garothi Mythic. On very first night (and tbh badly prepared for him) we got him down to 8%! Some Mythic blood is expected at score board this week

Back to old schedule as it seem!

1. Do full Heroic clear on night, maaaaaybe two, depend on the scent of the night and mood of raid group (as in more relaxed and funky on the raid night we are less kills we score. But as I said in one of previous posts we like it that way! )
2. Kill progress boss on Monday (or get a decent progressive wipes on it)

Anyway we got first Mythic blood spilled - we broke the Worldbreaker!
New raid week should get us a new kill or at least some more funky raiding.
