    8 Ranks of Unerring Arrows?

From Wowhead 7.2.5 PTR. Are they adding more ranks, or just showing what the percent would be with relics?

    link: Wowhead 7.2.5 PTR

    Marksmanship
    Artifact Traits (1)
Unerring Arrows Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 4%.
Rank 2: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 8%.
Rank 3: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 12%.
Rank 4: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 16%.
Rank 5: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 20%.
Rank 6: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 24%.
Rank 7: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 28%.
Rank 8: Increases the effectiveness of Vulnerability by 32%.

So disappointing to see the lack of changes to hunters in 7.2.5 compared with other classes. Must be a lot of open Blizzard positions in the hunter department to not have any changes at all to MM.

It's what it could be with Relics. ToS will add relics that add a rank in UA.

It's not like they could still be working on hunters and just aren't ready to post anything yet, right? I mean, 7.2.5 is releasing in a week, right, so surely everything is done by now, right?

MM hunters already had a massive overhaul in 7.1.5. Back then they specifically said that they were focusing on particular specs, and would focus on different specs in future patches.

Hypothetically speaking though, let's say MM hunters were rank #1 on every single boss in NH. Would you still be hoping for changes to the spec in 7.2.5?

There could be in increase to ranks in the future or possibly a 4th relic slot.
Check out my game, Craftsmith, on the Google Play Store!

Ofc they aren't working on Hunters, they ruined the class with legion changes and done with it till next expansion...

Sure, they made already broken class even worse with 7.1.5...

Except this is far from the true. Ofc people are expecting huge changes with 7.2.5 considering in how bad state hunters are currently. But chances are low. Blizzard is done with hunters this expansion. Damage is done and there's no way back.

They have been ignoring hunter community feedback since Legion Alpha. Do you really expect them to listen now so late into expansion?

Another possible explanation, is that they were planning on making at least some relics so they offered 2 bonuses. So it would clearly be possible to get more than +3 ranks for it at that point.

They were planning on that. Post a few months back stated they were adding a 4th Relic slot and relics would start having 2 affixes in ToS. They have since scrapped that idea.
Guessing they realized what a balancing nightmare it would be when they have enough problems trying to just balance weapon traits. Probably some internal communication issues or haven't updated some of the code that was originally accounting for that which is what is showing the 8 possible points in the trait.

Yes. Simply because the intended play style they "overhauled" us to in 715 is atrocious,

I believe it was due to player feedback that RNG on top of RNG on top of more RNG for relics would just be a nightmare. Right now you're already subject to titanforged RNG of relics but praying for titanforged + your perfect combination of traits would just be tiring.

Perks were supposed to always be set to each relic. One of the main problems was how players would go about storing relics before they unlocked the perk, and if it would retroactively unlock secondary perks on relics that were already obtained, or only for new relics obtained. at that point how do they communicate what relics would have what hidden perks to players that do not research their drops, and had not unlocked the perk yet. Additionally the second perk was supposed to always be a damaging perk, which meant that relics that had a main perk that was also damaging was significantly more powerful than a relic with one damage one utility perk.

Logistically, it really was a mess, and best to do on the outset of the system, or not at all.
