The repeats are kind of mean, even if they have a nominal vendor value

Dont grind world quests. Best way would be to do emmisaries on as many characters as possible, they give a ton of rep.
If you already have the rewards from a faction you can ignore those if you want. Except Kirin Tor becuase you can boost another faction. The system is bad, but imo the invasion mounts from 6.2 were much worse..
Coming up on 40 boxes opened, no toys, no mounts, nothing. This is pretty ridiculous, i understand why they would want us to keep doing world quests, but come the fuck on. Still haven't gotten the fox either, I've essentially lost count with how many army quests I've done.
Why are people even grinding repeats, unless it just happens naturally because you happened to want something else in the zone (like honor quest rewards or whatever)?
I have well over 100k guild resources and nothing to spend it on, just on my main alone from doing paragon grinding. So I have no reason to do WQs except for honor, or gold (and it's not the most efficient way to make gold), or paragon grinding mounts.
Once I get *any* of the mounts or the toy, I will simply stop doing that faction's zone world quests and its emissary quest. I see zero point in continuing to grind a particular zone faction once I have the mount.
I don't understand why anyone would, unless they are just doing it for the gold or whatever; in which case why do you care that you got a second same mount drop?
I do the emissarys/PvP WQ's for the prestige unicorns, for legendarys on my alts and curious coins on my main, and I have a double up of Dreamweavers mount sitting in my bank. Lots of people will ALWAYS have a reason to do emissarys, even if they have the mounts/toys from paragon.

Been doing the paragon rep since it came out, not a single mount, pet or toy.
However, I ge them slower than others since I don't grind for them. I do the emissaries and WQ's that are of interest to me due to their rewards, and then I don't do any more.
I do believe they should at the very least lower the rep requirement from 10k to 5k.
I am actually enjoying this, gives meaning to the reputation again.
Gives me incentive to keep doing WQs and slowly gather rep (Not going crazy about grinding).
No mounts/pets/toys yet but I am just enjoying the journey, not in a hurry to get to the end result!
I wish old zones had WQs and their own paragon chests... That would be so amazing...
4 out of 5 mounts, only flying carpet to go (and warden toy), and suramar has relatively the biggest rep per quest.
And I don't really grind rep anymore since I got exalted legionfall+other reps on 5 chars for a while.
Multiple characters greatly benefit from multiple chances, and you could speed it up even more using the BoA class order hall rep tokens that are 2x250 rep + 750/1500 bonus rep token.
Use the tokens during darkmoon faire if you want to get the most of it.
I haven't used the rep tokens yet myself as I likely use them on alts since I got most of the mounts already.
Now I have done over 9800 WQ but I certainly slowed down lately. Only do emmisary to upgrade legendaries really.

Curious coins make sense as a reason, if you haven't bought all of his things yet.
Otherwise... I will never grind these once I get the mounts and toy, unless I need something else (the specific reward from the world quest, such as honor, prof mats, or achievement completion).
I've been doing them for nearly a year - I am looking forward to moving on to Argus or whatever else.
I suspect at least one of these mounts is going to elude me until the next expansion comes anyway, like the polar bear did in WoTLK. It took another six months of ringing back to old Dal and flying over to do the stupid daily to get it.
Checking in as someone who runs emissaries on 3 characters per day, with bonus rep tokens from missions on all 3. 0 mounts/pets/toys out of 40-50ish boxes. Very frustrating system compared to the old way of getting exalted to get faction specific rewards. Not gonna quit over this, but it is another thing in the pile of things that make the game less enjoyable.
I just got a second hippo from court, so two birds in a row. =\
50 Valarjar and 45 NF opened and still neither mount feelsbadman.
Mount Count: 378. Newest addition: Arcadian War Derple
Pet Count: 859 (678 at Max Level)

I'm opening boxes on 3 chars and farming tokens on 7 but that valarjar mount won't drop no matter what, meanwhile my guildmate has gotten 2 valarjar drakes. Honestly, this is one of few things I hate about Legion.
I got 3 shitty Orphaned Felbats (sold 2) and NOTHING else from any other cache.
No mounts or toys, feelsbadmang

I'm now at around 90 chests total (only doing it on one char, I don't like alting) and only have the one from Highmountain.
Remember: 90 chests means 900,000 reputation in total.
7 factions, 6k+12k+21k=39k to reach exalted from 0. 273k to get all factions from 0 to exalted.
This means, I have gotten every single faction to exalted 3.2 times.
Highly frustrating system and definitely no "bad luck protection" on this one. Guildie of mine has opened around 75 chests without a single mount.
So happy that WoW has taken on the methods of casinos to keep their total time played up for shareholder meetings
I am glad so too, it keeps the rep relevant for ages and you get other stuff like gold on the way too.
If you would get mounts fast, then this system would end rather fast and now apply it everywhere, you wouldn't login because you would have all the mounts except the extreme cases like gladiator and such.
3 dragons so far from stormheim, nothing else
game is messing with me
