    why doesnt dampening affect absorbs in arena?

    Absorbs? Like the Priest shield?

    I think those spells do get dampened in an arena environment...

    Absorbs do get dampened, however, earthen shield totem apparently doesn't

    Can confirm that it absolutely does. I can break a monks cocoon at 80% dampening single shadow bolt no worries.
