Hotfix now live: Draught of Souls' damage is reduced by 20% for Arms Warriors and 15% for Fury (was previously reduced by 40% for each)
Here's a quick breakdown of how 15% Draught ranks up. Remember, the opportunity cost is higher now, which is the reason for the below variance.

    *Error range of ~+/-900 dps.

My general advice is to feel free to use it if it's your highest ilvl trinket, but if you have a competitive ilevel of any other top tier trinkets, you can just as easily do without. Keep in mind that you will not use Draught without T19 4p, so drop Draught if you trade tier for higher ilvl gear (which is plausible now), or T20.

To clarify, this comparison does not mean "Draught isn't worth using with Helm & Pants", it's only to show the effect of rising opportunity cost - every player is going to be different. As usual, I highly suggest you sim trinkets yourself, since these lists can shift considerably depending on your particular stats and gear level. For reference, here a comparison using my personal profile:

Turns out I was pretty spot on when I said nerfing it by any more than 20% would make it a dead trinket. 15% is fairly competitive, but not necessarily hands down best; honestly this is probably how it should have been tuned in the first place.

    Ah ok.
So you still use Setup B with Thorim and Hodir switched?
Which changes it to 1 Arms, 1 Leap, 3 Fury, 3 WW setup.
Changing this would result in Thorim equiping with +10/15/20% when with troops and/or mission duration reduction.

I'm so happy that DoS is still only equal to same ilvl trinkets after the reduction to only 15% nerf and only with T19 4pc. This trinket was one of the greatest item fails they implemented. Bake a spec into one trinket ... i got mine just ~1 month ago and always stayed out of the mytic raid progression if we had enough players as my dmg was just laughable compared to our other fury and with playing mechanics to compensate the fails of some of our slackers.
After finally getting it, my dmg was top (at least for my raid ), while still playing mechanics (for others).
Even if it is slightly better than my 890 haste stat stick (only have a 895 DoS) i think i will change it, as i don't want to bother with it any more.

I have just got Ring of Collapisng Future 905 ilvl, and I looked at the logs and saw that people are using it only during BC window although ring has 15 seconds cooldown. Is the damage of ring outside BC too low to be bothered using it?

The Ring's CD is indeed 15 seconds, but once used, it gives you a, stacking, debuff (30 seconds duration) that has a chance to trigger a 5 mins CD on the Ring, if you use it while the debuff is up.

Do you have some kind of addon that will link damages together if they are within a certain time frame? Another warrior in my guild pre nerf with around 55% mastery would be lucky to hit 1m after blowing cooldowns

Just blew my cooldowns with an 885 DoS and 37% mastery ( 41% damage when enraged ) and it was doing 660k or so a tick
A hero of war, yeah that's what I'll be. And when I come home, they'll be damn proud of me

After further testing, it seems that Draught is my best trinket for mainly/pure ST fights, but on AoE fights/non Tyra M+ I'm better off with the Haste stack stick. Wouldn't be surprised if this is the case for a lot of people who aren't blessed with a high ilvl Arcano.

Oh absolutely, and that's a good point to make.

Draught has always split damage, rather than share it (ie: it does the same amount of total damage to multiple targets as to one), but previously its damage was so high that it was often worth using over AoE. Now that its damage is lowered, it can be very much worth replacing, or at the very least delaying Draught for AoE instead.

Archi, I saw you are using Avatar on Mythic Guldan, but there are some people with high ranks using Wrecking Ball, what do you think about that? Also, should 865 Arcano be better than 920 DOS for this fight?

They're both competitive on M GD, but the faster adds die, the less of a chance there is that WB will actually be up when you need it. I prefer control to RNG.

At that ilvl, I'd go with DoS.

Yeah, on our M Gul'dan progression for instance I always did more damage with the stat stick, because you really don't have too many opportunities to actually hit Draught over the course of the fight after Ph1. I guess it would be more useful on Ph3 during the final rush to kill not-Illidan, but at this point I'm not sure the trade-off is worth it.

As a rule of thumb, it seems to me that if a fight/dungeon is worth switching to War Machine for, it's also worth switching to a non-Draught trinket.

Well it's still useful in Phase 1 to avoid the knockback from bonds, particularly during the third set of eyes. In Phase 2, you should have no problem using it whatsoever, and in Phase 3, you'll spend most of your time on Parasites, but there's usually at least one set that is blown up instantly by other classes CDs (Frost DK Dragon), or during the burn debuff.

Overall, still a useful trinket, though you could certainly get by using something else. I got a very nice rank 1 using Crystalline Scorpid, which isn't at all optimal for the fight (I wanted to test its range and parasite damage, though we one shot the fight so I never got a chance to trade out the trinket, whoops).

    I have a question about t19 and t20:
We gonna use 2 pieces of t19 plus 4 pieces of t20? If the answer is yes, and if we Have the Legendary Helmet, what should we do? drop the helmet to get the t19 2p bonus?

Pretty sure that between 4pc T20 and the BiS legs (which are helm and pants), there's no room for 2pc T19. If you can make it work without tossing decent legendaries, I'd say it's possible, but it seems to not be optimal.

Helm and/or Pants are very important to maintaining Enrage uptime with T20, and and while T19 helps with this as well and slightly increases the uptime on Raging Thirst (avg 40-44% uptime), it's dependent on Furious Slash use, while Helm/Pants lead to more Rampage use in place of the weaker Furious Slash.

it depends on the strategy, in my guild the DOS is vital to burn down the empowered eyes at P2

I'm very surprised how close pants and new ring are to each other in t20. Did u do sims for 2p t19 2pt 20 and some leggos combos ,since 4p t20 is litteraly a 20% dmg on BT for 80% of the fight, wich is not great?
