Well with WoD we assumed there was all sorts of content and were surprised. This time around at least we know ahead of time.

Honestly, I had made up a in my mind "worst case" reveal and this somehow is even less content than that.

At least my worst case had them bringing back Garrisons.

I am in agreement. I was going for worst case and this is worse than my worst case. I really don't mean to be negative but they are showing nothing. I am not at all impressed. I would be more impressed if they actually showed all the new UI. If they showed the warfronts. They aren't because they don't have it. Its all concept still! We are literally 9 to 14 months away from launch and they are still in concept on the features that are interesting. That is just not good.

I'm now ready to call it a filler expansion. Everything I said before (link in signature) still stands.

Plus there was 0 talk about class changes, which makes me feel pretty confident there ARE no class changes coming.

If not for how I think they said somewhere they're aiming for January/February alpha and release in Fall 2018, I'd say this was half-assed just to shove it out the door 77 days after Antorus releases.

For how little we're really getting here, there's no reason to not throw in an old world revamp along with this. This is just Blizz phoning in a filler expansion with their B Team while the A Team works on Ka'resh for 9.0.

Seems like something you would get if they also remade the world huh? Maybe a large part of the team is working on Vanilla severs. Fucking hate that idea. Its taking away from the live game.

They just didn't really say much that wasn't already highlighted in the opening ceremony, disappointing panel for sure.

Q&A tomorrow should get us some more relevant info about legendaries/titanforging that everyone is wondering about but I guess class design wise its a waiting game now.

I mean, if we break it down compared to Legion there seems to be more content. We get all the good stuff from Legion ( M+, WQ ) which were major selling points for that expansion - and on top of that we get islands, warfrronts and continent change ups.

It's more on paper, it just doesn't feel that way.

Why the fuck do we still have servers? And for that matter, drop the charade, Blizzard.

You gave all these new features to Guilds, but wouldn't go the full 100 yards and made Guilds cross-server? Seems arbitrary to me since these Communities are LITERALLY GUILDS that are cross-server.

Plus now that PvP servers are gone there's no reason to not just go ahead and marge 90% of the playerbase (keep the RPers in their own cluster) together and lean on sharding.
