Btw, Sylvie could burn the tree because she got the shard of Sargeras's weapon which was dropped onto Azeroth and caused the wound. It's very powerful and giving Sylvie the gut.

Do you know anything about whether lor'themar has an important role in the expa or if at least we see it do something?
what happens with the starting zones of blood elves and draenei?

I mean let's face it, even with scaling making zones more efficient to quest in, you are still probably better of using all your heirlooms and rushing to 80 with dungeons, then doing MoP questing (which is fun and very xp rewarding), then rush through WoD by using the trick with Gorgrond (prepare all the bounties, nearly complete all the world objectives then quaff the xp pot and get 6 levels in 15 minutes.

Indeed, but it's a pity, especially if you want to experience a "proper" experience with an unbroken timeline, may you be an actual player or a new one.

But I guess I'll just give up on them fixing that, the way Chris Robinson and Alex Afrasiabi (which for some reason I don't find very enjoyable compared to the rest of the WoW team, not that it's relevant but anyway) discussed what had to be done concerning changes in zones in Panser's interview (ugh) was clear enough for me: it's not a problem they really care about, even if it fucks up the leveling experience in terms of lore. They mentioned thinking about doing a world revamp and then went for sharding because well f*ck it. I understand their decision, as it is less demanding in resources, but I still think it's lazy.

And that comment about "that three is pretty big, I bet that fire is gonna take a while" to joke on the fact that it might not be properly depicted in the game... just nope. If you're gonna have a full Alliance VS Horde war going on, and you want impacts on such things: do them properly in game.

I'm still excited about the rest though, just mad about that.

They said it could be possible to gather old items from classic and have it transfer to current WoW, that'd be amazing if they managed to do it.
It was still too early to speculate. But omg, imagine if they manage to do it.


Could finally get back those old items we lost such as the purple hat from the Tabetha quests or the corrupted ashbringer.

Yeah Alex seems . . . conceited? Chris doesn't seem excited enough but some people are that way (plus imo he is nice to look at).
Even with scaling changes I still doubt that leveling will in any way be a challenge. And anyway Warcraft sorely lacks a proper tutorial; I honestly don't understand how anyone learns to play this game without a friend to guide them or spending time in guides.

I'm happy I'm not the only one thinking so! He's so conceited, that's the word. I'm happy we got Ion has "public face" because he is much more enjoyable. And yes, Chris Robinson is good-looking, but the "uninterested vibe" kind of kills it. I guess it's just in his temper and I shouldn't judge/make remarks on this. It just bugged me for some reason.

And I agree, we would need a proper tutorial but eh, it's how it is! I'm done hoping for that stupid timeline to be fixed, I'll just close my eyes when I see incoherence and then reopen them at level 110 haha!

EDIT: My favourites are the HS team right now, I just love Ben Brode and Dave Kosak. They're both absolutely lovable and goofy in the best way possible!

I don't think Alex seems conceited at all, maybe hiding things, same with Ion. They seemed to be holding back certain info but not in nefarious way, just a "Don't spoil it!"

I'm also don't think it's an early presentation, I think for some reason they just didn't tell a lot of info at least in comparison to our expectations. I think they knew a lot more then what went on but I assume something else forced their hand. As for Tutorials for the game, I speak from experience, I learned by doing and I agree the game needs a tutorial. I can't assume players will learn the way I do at this point.

It fits the environment Hearthstone is in. Very silly interpatation of Hearthstone and that's fine. I wouldn't want Kosak writing actual Warcraft lore in a silly way.

They actually seem quite along in development (IMO). They showed off every zone and had two zones and dungeons available to play at Blizzcon. When Legion was announced, we barely saw anything of Suramar because there just wasn't anything to show. We got zone fly-throughs of every zone this time.

1. What's up with Worgen and Goblin models?

2. How will they burn down Teldrassil without a zone revamp?

3. Will they do anything to classes? Legion design wasn't that popular.

4. What does Marcellus Wallace look like?

Think it's kind of stupid alliance gets both void and light. I mean come on, a force thats dabbling in both omnipotent ( you know what I mean) energy's, can clearly improve a factions power immensely. Seems not well thought out. I mean I get it lore wise but still, they should of thought on how to incorpate both for both sides.

The thing with Legion is, Demon Hunters and Class Artifacts were both so MEATY. We spent months discussing the artifacts alone.

Heart of Azeroth could go the same way, it just doesn't sound gimmicky and bullshitty.

Warfronts are instanced content. And in one of the two WoWhead interviews they were asked directly if we will have something similar to class hall missions/champions/troops and they said no.

They mentioned something about researching. I don't see us in the clear yet.
