Aside from the Worgen vs Fosaken bullcrap, there hasn't been a lot of Horde/Alliance tension. Barely even a Horde presence, even Liadrin isn't present on the Vindicaar IIRC.

I was just saying it would've been cool to give the Horde and Alliance some universal significance on a larger scale, as warring factions rather than just two armies devoted to the same goal. Alliance with Light, Horde with Fel, Void Lords with Shadow.

hi just wanted to post my own predictions for 8.0 somewhere so I can tell my friends "see I was right" (in case that i am right) and I didn't want to start another silly thread

new race customisation - beards/hairstyles maybe subraces
making your own custom weapon - maybe with attachable "mods" you can find (think artifacts with relic-like slots but without talents and leveling)
path of the titans progression system (replaces artifact progression) with azeroths titan blood as power increase? (in place of artifact power)
world quests in old world (maybe scaling)
alliance / horde battleships as new command centers for garisson-esque missions

nazjatar - naga capital city (suramar like hostile endgame city)
kultiras - under oldgod influence/attack (leveling zone)
zandalar - zandalari troll empire (as first raid or leveling zone)

other wild guesses:
satyr neutral race - broken free of xavius' command (unlikely but best guess for a new race + nice fit for new demon hunters for both factions)
expansion goes from minor void influence to heavy void influence to lead into a void lord space expansion? somthing like in legion - first tier very neutral then every tier more legion influence
something with dragons - maybe long forgotten dragon isles or wrathion story continued

If the whole "Wound" thing wasn't happening, based on what we see on Argus, I would agree. Since the wound IS a thing, I think we'll be on Azeroth.

The last couple of xpacks not being on Azeroth is the only evidence I need to state with confidence that this xpack will take place on Azeroth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but out of the 6 expansions so far only two weren't set on Azeroth(TBC and WoD). Unless you are talking about the continent of Azeroth AKA Eastern Kingdoms, or the Kingdom of Azeroth AKA Stormwind

Most gangs on MMO-Champ want me because of my sweet bo-staff and data-mining skillz. I can mentally confirm the new xpack will include both Space Marine themed and Tau themed raids. Also, we are getting three new races in the next xpack: Xenos, Dark Eldar, and Necrons. This, too, has been mentally confirmed. This is evidenced by the connection I have convinced myself of in my head between the Legion xpack and the similarities it shares with all things Warhammer 40k. But, honestly, I just don't mind waiting until Blizzcon to figure it all out. WE probably won't get half the things they promise any way. #goodpvp #uniqueinterestingclasses #dancestudio
