Can we please get a new rule

Please make a new rule stating people must at least make some kind of comment when copy and pasting a new article.


This is getting beyond stupid as we now have like 5 people that just copy and paste a news article with no input to start the discussion.

As we have said before, this is definitely our preference too, but it is not something that requires moderation intervention or a rule. Discussion can occur with or without input of the OP. If the community wants to self police and ignore those threads in hopes that it encourages more opening dialogue they are welcome to, but as long as these threads are still getting posts it just demonstrates that more first post content isn't necessary for discussion to occur.
