Destiny 2 - Open Beta Question.

Hello - My question is with Destiny 2 early access starting on the 28th for "pre orders" and open beta starts the 29th and concludes on the 31st. Do I need to pre order to participate in the OPEN beta?

If it is open beta then why force people to pay for the pre order just to test the game? Yes, you can cancel the pre-order and get your money back, but for me to get a 50-60 dollar refund from a online purchase is torture because you have to wait 7-10 days for the refund. Unless once open beta starts we can can downloading it?

An open beta is (as the name implies) open to everyone.

I really wouldnt bother preordering before, as from what i heard, the beta will be pretty small and more of a demo of 1 or 2 missions. Not a real beta.

But can only pre-order guys preload the beta ? because i can only order it in the blizzard app but cannot download it , however preload started 2 days ago
