Wait until october if you can, there is no point in buying Intel right now as it's about to become obsolete. If you cannot downgrade your CPU to a Pentium G4560 and upgrade the GPU to 1050 Ti.

Little off-topic but, why october? Is that when the new CPUs from Intel are coming? And how much better is Coffee Lake than Kaby Lake?

They arent gonna be much faster apart from the 2 cores for multithread but thats not the issue with Coffee Lake, they just seem to be clocked higher, even at the cheaper CPUs.

https://www.overclock3d.net/gfx/arti...060157766l.jpg as example if this leak is accurate, which no reason not to be, if the 230$ CPU is at 3.8 with probably 4Ghz Turbo, they are perfect for WoW compared to their useless 3~3.4Ghz up to now.

Thanks for all responses. I just wanted to save some money, what you think about pentium g4600 + gtx 1050 ? By the way Thunderball, buying 1050ti is really worth ?

CPU isnt the problem, yours should handle 60 on medium (preset4-5) fine with a 1050Ti at 1080p. The engine itself does not rely on just the cpu like it did. The gpu handles the shadows, lighting..etc

@Kaligon has a decent explanation, See here.

that in mind, a 1050Ti would gain some fps, not a whole lot, but it also depends on resolution, which you did not mention.

I would buy a 1060 and call it a day. Buuut ... that depends on what other games you play.
