Anti-communist sentiment in Europe generally stems from a long period of Civil unrest caused by Soviet inspired ( and funded ) Communist groups infiltrating Labour unions and Left leaning Political Parties.

Many countries literally do not want to ever have to face the idea of the Weimar Republic situation.
