The second(?) episode(I caught it on my DVR) is actually one of the funniest episodes I've seen. I won't give away any spoilers but the plot is great. I say don't worry, imho, S2 so far is even better than(or at least as good as) S1, but that's just my opinion. I hope it keeps it up, because I am loving the show.

It was alright, woulda been a fine episode 2 or 3 in my book but as an opener it really just didn't "grab me" like season openers should IMO. There were a couple different sub-plots all kinda mashed together and none of them were (again, IMO) particularly engaging.

I haven't watched the second episode yet but I thought the first episode for this season was pretty good. Its a interpersonal relationship(not sure what else to call it) episode that involves pretty much everyone of the main cast. Bortus isn't in it as much as I would have liked and kinda wanted to see a more "powerful" ending. Was hoping they would have had Bortus's yearly piss be more impressive and/or funny.
Other than that I don't really have any other complaints.

In case anybody is confused, the 2nd episode for season 2 that Fox showed was actually produced as part of season 1 and got held back, that's why there are no references to anything that happened in the season premiere (like the new Dark Matter crew member not being there at all).

I'm still not sure what to think of this show. It's okay to pass time with, but it doesn't really feel that good I guess. I get that they're trying to do more human stories in a futuristic setting, but the stories themselves aren't that interesting.

I couldn't help but watch the season 2 premiere without thinking about how Seth McFarlane and Halston Sage (Alara) have been dating and apparently broke up.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

Didn't TNG do an episode about holodeck addiction with Broccoli at some point?

There was one that had holodeck addiction. Hollow Pursuits was the episode name.

I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. It was lighthearted fun. That drive by was hilarious.
The second was a little too silly for me, with the Moclan porn thing.
The show needs some more backstory, worldbuilding, context... now it's just separate episodes with very little sense of purpose.

Really liked the third episode and it has some great cameo's. I just hope that Alara isn't leaving the show for good.

Damn, just a great 3rd episode. And the cameos were excellent.

I think, unfortunately, he's gone starting next episode (the 5th) since the permanent replacement was said to be coming.

Maybe it's a Star Trek homage, but the music is so over the top cheesy and kind of terrible and really detracts from the show.

Iam enjoying the second season alot

I really am gonna tip my hat to Seth in that he has captured the essence of Star Trek without it being a out and out parody which was what i was expecting when i first started this thread.

I love this show, Alara is gone though apparently and that makes me sad.

I'm okay with the serie, has long I can download it and skip some parts I would say.
It's some sort of a Young and the Restless in Space, there's too much romance crap.
So far this season, after 4 episode, I'm still okay with the show but I was unable to watch the first of the season , it was just unbearable.

may change in the next episode of course
