Replacing my GPU

Hi Guys

My PC boots but not display. tried removing the my 780 GPU & connected to my motherboard : it works
I am thinking of replacing my 780 with a 1050 TI.
I am also thinking about building a PC in 2-3 months



I Mostly use my PC to play wow & watch movies

Just wanted to know if it was worth replacing my 780 with a high end GPU & not build a new PC in 2-3 month
or just get a 1050 TI for now & build a PC in 2-3 month

Well that could work, but what would you do with the 1050 Ti afterwards?

I am assuming since you bought a 780 in the past you play all types of games?

If we are talking Blizzard games, 1050 Ti is fine, overall, not that great.

And the way things are going, Nvidia wont have anything new out in 2-3 months, so 1070 maybe to carry over in 2-3 months?

1050 Ti is wont offer you the same performance as a 780 would. If you plan on replacing it in 2-3 months I would search for something on second hand market: 970 or 980 would do nicely.

You can buy new GPU now and use it later in your new PC.
