Where exactly the ''Alleria use the power of the shadows'' bit is coming from ?

Now, to be honest, it's not like this is against Alleria characterization.

Alleria entire characterization in WC2 was her art and 5-6 lines when selected (the art does explain the ''click emote'' Keep your gaze focused..) and beyond that, well there was the novelization where (surprise) she was an Elf that really did not liked the Horde. The bulk of the characterization beyond that was made by her sisters.

But while it's not exactly improbable for a Windrunner to make a pact with dark powers to avenge hersellf, where exactly her foray in voids magics is coming from ?

From the fact that she really wants the Legion to die and it works.

It's mostly to act as a foil to Turalyon's Light.

I understand where OP is going, it's not like Illidan decided to become a demon hunter while fighting furbolgs

it creates an interesting storyline with her and turalyon being paragons of opposing forces, as well as her story being a bridge into the imminent void expansion

she spent a thousand years fighting the legion. Her character changed.

    *She thinks she spent

The whole nether time thing is easily disproven so someone is lying and it's clearly them or they were lied to.

Time and space are the same, it's possible that 1000 years have actually passed for them, elves don't die from old age and Turalyon is a paragon of the Light and thus likely either immune to or highly resistant to aging
ill probably be infracted for this post

Except it isn't considering we have multiple instances of characters being in the nether for prolonged periods and it has not been a thing. Outland, priest/warlock/demon hunter order halls etc. There are numerous examples of this and there has been nobody who suggested that in the time the people went to these places that it was longer than the rest of the world felt. If that were really the case, anyone who didn't go to Outland would have been really confused when we returned within 5 minutes.

When that's the only instance of that actually possibly happening, one really has to raise an eyebrow. This is the plothole not the other instances of it which therefore means THIS is the case that something is amiss. We have several if not many instances of traveling to the TN and none have resulted in what A and T suggest. Mind you I am pretty sure they are the only ones suggesting they've been there that long as well and we know that Alleria was imprisoned by Xera so that could easily have been what made her think that.

So? Our characters live in a world that barely has electricity, do you really think they understand the greater machinations of the universe?

They weren't just in the nether, they were on other worlds too, even other realities (Alleria quest in WoD). It's not that hard to think that it has been a thousand years for them.

Eh I'm more inclined to believe that the entire WoD quest was just a throwaway thing and I mean even bringing WoD into this is not a good precursor of you winning an argument as the entire reality bit and one nether has even more plot holes than the worst fan fiction ever. Saying other worlds still doesn't change anything: They keep claiming it is the nether. We've been in the nether. If they had said "oh we went to a reality where time went faster than you guys and it's been a much longer time" but that wasn't the case. It would have required MULTIPLE worlds with essentially wars over the world not a brief stop for it have been a thousand years.

It's also mentioned at the start of the Marksmanship Artifact questline, by the mage who makes the portal.

And Vereesa also comments on it.

Vereesa: Was she here for days? Years? Centuries? The mage was right...time has little meaning in this place.
    By the Light...There! It's her bow! Thas'dorah!
Alleria was here...her bow's presence is proof of that! I'd wager she escaped, and the inquisitor hoped to lure her back.
Thas'dorah is a bow worthy of a hero like Alleria...a hero like you. With this weapon in your hands, the Legion will tremble!
Also, the image of what the mage said, I screencapped that yesterday in case this came back up.

She is going to bridge us into a void-based expansion and possibly even an etheral-based one, while fulfilling her share in what will be called "the most balanced marriage/couple of the Great Dark", where light-based Turalyon is the husband of the void-based Alleria who both have found perfect balance in everything. Yep.
