Falsely accused of satanic horrors, a couple spent 21 years in prison

How would something like this happen? Why would a child want to ruin someone's life? I hear there are many people in our society that are wrongly accused.Our system is more designed to convict people rather than give people the fair trial they deserve. Those who get Fair trials have the money.

A few things.

1) This was literally 25 years ago. Things were a bit different then.
2) They were jailed for child abuse, not satanic stuff. That was part of it, but it was child abuse. People jump on the bandwagon real fast when it comes to that.
3) Psychiatry, even if not medically approved in these cases, is still used for 'medical' and legal reasons. It's silly, but there was a group of guys specifically abusing the system.

SRA, in the sense of complex multi-generational sex/slave rings, have been debunked to oblivion.

Nothing prevents someone with deep mental issues (example : Dahmer ) to commit crimes while drawing pentagrams and drinking blood in the name of Satan. But they picked those ideas from movies,not an elaborate Satanist church.
