Getting drunk on a work night

Guess it would depend on how much, I don't drink often, last time was a few weeks ago (before that years, other than a hard lemonade here or there) but some friends came back from a vacation\Wedding of a friend and has some stuff we finished off I had about 6 shots of Patron Vodka, 4 shots of some other Vodka, two long islands, and a few Seagram (3 regular and one screwdriver), laid down around 1:30am and woke up around 6am and felt fine. (not sure if that's consider a lot or not again not normally a drinker)

i work at a home brew supply store where we brew sample beers...so there is a walk in cooler full of kegs about 8 feet from where i work.

currently cutting back tho, im drinking more and getting less drunk.

When I was in the military, for about a year right in the middle of my enlistment I drank daily. At least 12-18 beers. Would bring Vodka to work in water bottles or have my morning coffee spiked with whiskey. I still think I did it out of boredom and not actually being an alcoholic. I pretty much stopped overnight.

I was the triple D though. If anyone has spent any amount of time going to bars or going out, you'll know what a triple D is.

Now I barely drink. I haven't had anything alcoholic in over a month, and that was 2 beers at dinner.

Get hammered drunk? Only on special occasions like New Years where I have to work the next day. Going out and grabbing 4-5 beers just go get a bit of a buzz? Pretty often, a big group of my coworkers and I go out to grab some food along with beer every now and then. And considering my job doesn't close on the weekends its a work night for at least somebody.

I don't really get drunk at all -- except in Finland -- but if I did, no, I would find it unprofessional to oversleep.

However, one drink to help you sleep, isn't getting drunk.
